Midnight Bruises

Chapter Seven

~Jaebum's POV~

I showed up at Jackson's an hour early to help set up. This also insured I'd be here when Youngjae got here, I was determined to keep my promise.

Not even a minute past the time people were told to come there were at least 30 people in his living room. I ignored most of them and waited by the front door with waters.

I wore black skinny jeans with a gray t-shirt and black jacket. I wasn't dressed fancy even though I saw a few people dressed rather interestingly.

"Waiting for me?"

I turned and saw Youngjae and smiled. I handed him a water and he took it looking at it nervously.

"I brought it myself it isn't spiked or drugged like the movies I swear." I told him making him laugh and open it.

Youngjae was in a black supreme hoodie with ripped blue skinny jeans and he look pretty adorable I won't lie. We walked into the living room and saw BamBam laughing loudly at something Yugyeom said and Yugyeom blushing.

"They're cute. Do you think they'll get together?" Youngjae asked and I smiled.

"I think they might, if they do they'd work really well together." I answered and Youngjae looked at me.

"BamBam wouldn't hurt him right?" He asked and I laughed putting my arm around his shoulders.

"Trust me, Yugyeom has been BamBams whole world all year. He would do anything for him, he'd even give up dabbing." I said and Youngjae laughed.

"What's his real name? There is no way it's BamBam." He asked as we moved and sat on the couch.

"Kunpimook but no one can or wants to say that." I said and Youngjae laughed loudly.

I smiled enjoying his slightly over the top laugh even though next to his smile was a small purple bruise that made my eyebrows crease with worry.

"What's that from?" I asked pointing to it and Youngjae looked at me for a moment.

He didn't look scared or like he was called out like I expected he just looked like he was confused on if he wanted to tell me or not.

"I'm just clumsy." He said and I groaned mentally knowing that was a lie.

I guess I don't know him well enough for him to open up however...
