The day was warm and the air smelt of salt. You smiled as the sound of seagulls rang through your ears. Everything around you felt light. The sky. The sun. The breeze. Even the sea itself. You loved coming to the docks and watching the sailors aboard ships for their next journey. It was always a dream of yours to sail across the ocean. Now that dream has come true.
Excitement was the one word that could describe what you had felt at that very moment. Excitement for the adventure to come. Excitement for the memories you'd make and the stories you'd tell. It was as if it all were a fairy tail. A dream conjured up in a young maiden's mind as she drifts off to a peaceful slumber.
That's it! That's what it felt like! The tingling sensation of excitement that coursed through your bloodstream and motivated you to work even harder on the very ship that brings you to such happiness.
The air was sweet and blew a salty breeze that grazed the side of your cheek. The white sails above your head were tugged by the wind and were pushed forward. A smile graced your face as you saw the sun's rays shine off of the water and create a magical scene before you. It all felt so peaceful. So serene and innocent. However, it never gave way of the dangers you'd face as another ship made way towards you.
You were so immersed in the beauty and excitement that you didn't realize how a man with light hair and mischievous eyes made way towards your relaxed form. His hands went to grab your wrist when you had gasped and ran towards the end of the rail as a pod of dolphins splashed in the waves.
The man, awestruck by your interest in the beauty of sailing, looked around and crept towards you once more. His gaze now innocent and curious. No longer did he harbor the intention of harming you, but that of knowing the gentle soul that you held within your heart. His heavy footsteps is what snapped you out of your daze.
Turning around, you gasped as you spotted the pirate clad with his rebellious, yet gentleman-like, attire. His feather hat framed his face perfectly as it laid on top of the golden locks that resembled the sun and all of its beauty. "Greetings, love. May I say what a fine day this is? Forgive me for this, but I harbor no ill will," He spoken in a calming voice as he grasped your waist and cut the rope of a sail. Taking the rope in hand, he swung the two of you towards his ship. Your screams were the only sound that the crew of your ship heard before the mysterious pirate and his ship disappeared with you with them.
