Sinking

Shock

He retrieves the blindfold from under the door and spins me around. The water around us swoshes as we move. Carefully, he ties the blindfold to me, double knotting it. The blindfold feels smooth and cold, but not as wet as I would have expected. Actually, not wet at all. But how can it be dry?

"No questions," he murmurs.

"I didn't say anything."

"Nor did I,"

"Yes you did you said, no questions."

"You heard me?"

I nod in what I believe to be his direction. He pushes me forward. "How many times do I have to day lets go?" He says, getting angry now. He shoves me again and I stumble forward, nearly falling flat on my face.

"Stupid humans,"

An audible quick swirl in the water makes me topple toward the ground again. An arm that I believe to be his, is now holding me upright. His arm is cold and I shiver against his touch.

"Lido, we are ready to leave."

"You're taking her Sire? Isn't that dangerous? Infact 57.6% of blah blah blah..." after that I stopped listening, instead moving my hands through the water at different speeds to hear the different sounds. It's so beautiful down here and I'm most definitely coming back tomorrow but tomorrow ill come sooner. in order to have more time down here. I giggle, that one sounded like a fart.

Rysk's POV

I look over at Coral, she's rhythmically making swirls in the water. I watch as she giggles in delight. She sounds like a two-year old. Even though she can't see anything she loves it.

She's probably losing her oxygen. But shes... half allyzi so shouldn't that mean she could breathe it in??

I don't know. But what I do know is that i need to get her to the surface soon. Preferably right now.

I grab both her arms making her cough.

"Coral? Can you hear me??"

"Yes, Aunty Cupcake I can hear you ju..."

I hear lido and the others laughing at her and I ignore them. I don't give up on human lives like this.

"What?!?"

Her head falls onto my chest. I don't know what to do.

Frantically I push the doors open to the mini hospital. I've been studying. I swim harder and faster than I ever have before to get her to the surface. When I break through the surface I feel the itch and burn in my lungs. It's choking me, but I have to get her home safely.

I untie the blindfold as quickly as I can. It falls into the water, completely forgotten.

"Rysk" *coughing*" go back" she choked out,"youre struggling"

"You're dying."

I dipped under the water and to cool the itch.

When I came back up, she was already looking better. Her face was better in colour and she was doggy paddling.

"Swim over to the ledge,"

"I can't"

"What do you mean you can't?!"

"I mean I've never been swimming before,"

"What!! You own an aquarium"

"I have to get back,"

"Yes, yeah you do."

I carry her over to the ledge, minimising touch between her legs and my hands. she doesn't look back, but I know she's coming back.

As u can c I've given up on the whole 'update once a week thing' but I promise ill update wenevr I can. As I type this I'm laying in bed. U c ive got a new puppy. And he's a big job. He's a border collie and eats, sleeps and grows a lot. A lot a lot.

I know this one is short but ill try to make the nxt one longer.

Oh and wth the cupcake thing... she was at a loss for oxygen so she was probably hallucinating.... A cupcake. Idk maybe she was hungry?!!!

It's a lot harder to write chapters for this story that's my other story slave.
