There Will Be Blood

Chapter 4

Breakfast went smoothly on a Sunday morning as my uncle fiddled with his phone probably texting his secretary, Nathalie about enrolling me to a school, HighVamp. Weird, I know. I mean, who would even name a school 'HighVamp?'

I still can't forget about the memories from the last two days. And the pleasurable feeling everytime our skin touched. And there's something in me that's forcefully pulling me toward him.
Maybe, it was just my head playing games with me... But then... Why does my heart beat fast everytime our skin touched or we locked eyes.

I can't describe this weird feeling towards him so I left it aside and tried to focus on the real world.

"Marinette, your first day of school starts tomorrow. You, Adrien and Chloe will go together." he smiled and it soon was replaced with a frown when he looked at Adrien and Chloe. The three of them stared each other, eyes narrowing as if they were having a conversation. I shook the thought away when I felt Chloe touched my hand and smiled at me.

I gave her a puzzled look but smiled back. "So, do you guys have to wear a uniform? or... "

"Yes, we do have uniforms but we rarely use it. The principal doesn't really mind. Only on special occasions like when a special guests comes visit our school and stuff." she shrugged "But, don't worry. Your uniform is already in your closet, so if you want to use it tomorrow or not, you're free to decide whatever you wear."

"But, wearing some shorts, skinny jeans, crop top, and some dresses that shows a lot of your skin. You are not allowed to enter the school" Adrien suddenly said, his eyes turning slightly black as he gripped his spoon

"Don't listen to this idiot. You can wear whatever you like. Even if it's a bikini or-" Chloe was cut off when Adrien suddenly stood from his chair and leaving the room while muttering something under his breath.

I looked at Chloe puzzled and she gave me the same look. My uncle cleared his throat and smiled at me "And Marinette, you don't have to worry about your school equipments because I already got them after your mother called me that you will be staying here for a year."

I smiled back at him "I can't thank you enough uncle. I really appreciate it!"

He chuckled "Your welcome. And after you and Chloe eat breakfast, she will be taking you to the mall for some girl time" he shook his head playfully and Chloe poked her tung out playfully. My uncle then, looked at his wrist watch and cursed silently. Standing up from his seat and straightening up his suit "I have to go ladies. Got some problem in my office." and then he left

"There's no way in hell I'm using this tomorrow!" I argued

"No, you are using this tomorrow and that's final" she argued back, looking at me from the mirror with a smile

Chloe had insisted that we go shopping some new clothes. Even thou I already had some, she doesn't really care and was eager to go to the mall

I groaned and look back to the material that I held. I look over at Chloe who was giving me a mischievous grin and I sighed.

Guess we're getting this then

I woke up the next at exactly five in the morning. I went to the bathroom and took a shower.
After drying myself up. I decided to wear my uniform instead. I want to make a good impression in my first day of school. After eating breakfast and bid my uncle goodbye, me and Chloe headed to the door. It wasn't a surprise that Adrien already left but, a part of me was quite dissapointed that he did.

"So, you ready to meet some hot guys? " Chloe nudged me at my side

Wait. Weren't we at the house just seconds ago?
