There Will Be Blood

chapter 6

"This is all your fault!"

"MY FAULT? You're the one who introduced her to Luca!"

"And why do you care?! You treat her like crap! She's not even yours! So suck it up and leave her alone you yellow headed freak!"

"You moron! We have the same hair color!"

"That's not the point!"

God, my head hurts...

Waking up with voices shouting only adds up the painful pounding of my head. I groaned and squinted my eyes. Hoping for the annoying voices to stop.

And as if my prayers have been answered, the room went silent and I sighed. I opened my eyes and blinked a few times. Looking at a yellow ceiling with elegant designs, I already know that this wasn't my room. I slowly sat up and look around the bright yellow room, I then noticed two certain persons standing by the door looking at me cautiously.

I frowned.

What's up with them?

"Uhm... Is there something on my face?" I asked

They were silent for a moment and I frowned.

"Um..." I said awkward

"You don't remember?" Chloe asked nervously

"Remember what? Why? Has something happened?" I sat up slowly while Adrien puffed out an annoyed look.

Chloe shook her head "never mind that. Are you feeling okay?"

I nodded "How did I end up here?"

Chloe laughed nervously and looked anywhere but me "well... "

Then it hit me. The events that had happened in school played in my mind with a flash. Memories of Adrien and Luka fighting. Eyes turning black. The sharp... Long.... Fangs.... Oh god...

I screamed.

"Marinette calm down!"

Chloe tried to reach me, but I slapped her hand away and backed away, still screaming.

"Marinette! Calm down, please!" She pleaded.

How does she expect me to calm down? I'm in a room full of blood sucking beasts who's ready to eat my brains out?

"Adrien! Do something you moron!" She shouts

I snapped my head towards the door where I remembered, Adrien leaning against it but, I found no one. My heart was beating loudly and and I could hear my long heavy breaths as I tried to regain energy and run. I tried to make up a silent  plan in my head, but before I could go any further, strong masculine arms held my shoulders painfully and pushed my back against the head board.

I groaned in pain, my back hurt from the impact. I slowly opened my eyes, I gasped as I stared face to face with the red eyed demon himself.

My breath hitched, panicked coursing through my veins as images of him killing me flash through my head. He was glaring at me, lips snarling with a low growl and his white sharp fangs showing.

"Be quite!" He snarled

I wimpered painfully when I felt him dig his sharp nails on my shoulder, drawing a little bit of blood. There was a brief change of his eyes but I was too occupied of the pain to know what it is.

"Adrien! Let go! Your hurting her!"
Chloe snarled. Seeing that Adrien still hasn't left his position, Chloe snarled again before ripping him completely off of me. He hit the wall with a loud thud. He snapped his attention back to his sister.

"You told me to do something!"
He yelled

"Yeah, but not like that! What is wrong with you?!" Chloe snarled, eyes turning a shade of black.

Adrien was silent for a moment. He was watching Chloe with an intense stare before averting his attention to me.

He spoke before before giving me a glare. "If you ever tell someone that we're vampires, I will kill you. " He stood up and marched his way towards the door.

I flinched when I heard the door bang shot. Chloe rolled her eyes and muttering something under her breath before turning back her attention to me.

I slowly backed away, fear suddenly coursed through my body. "I-I won't tell anyone a-about yo-you! I p-promise!"

She smiled "I know you won't tell a soul, Mari. I trust you. "

"S-so you...your not going to kill me? Suck my blood? Use me as your food?"

"No. We no longer need human blood to survive. We only feed from animals. A deer mostly. Feeding from humans was a thousand years ago. Now, we mostly drank blood from animals." She said, now sitting at the end of the bed.

I am still pressed against the headboard as I listen. In have never heard of a vampire feeding from an animal. I assumed they only drank from humans as it is what I have heard and watched from the movies.

"Is it true that you'll turn into ashes when you are under the sun?" I asked, tilting my head to the side.

She laughed softly and shook her head. "No. What you see in movies aren't mostly real. Like, when our bodies sparkle when the sun hits our skin."

Oh... Ok then.

"So... You are free to walk under the sun for as long as you want?"
I asked.

She nods her head "Mhmm."

"Is uncle also a you know... Like you and Adrien?"

"Yes, same as the kids from school. Most of the town here are vampires some are humans." She then stood up "And I advice you to stay away from Luka if you don't want to see two vampires fight. And it's not a pretty picture."

Why would I need to stay away from Luka? I'm confused "Wait, do you mean Adrien and Luka?"

He nods "Yes."

"That doesn't make any sense. Why would they fight?"

"It is not my place to tell you that. But I promise, soon, you will know. " And with that she vanished in a blink.

I rinsed the shampoo from my hair with the shower head above me. Sighing in content as the feel of the warm liquid flowing through my hair down to my body.

After Chloe left, I decided to head back to my room and take a warm shower to process everything that has happened. I am still slightly scared that I'm living on the same roof of three bloodsucking vampires.

I turned off the shower and reached for my towel before drying myself. I layed the towel to a nearby chair and reached for my pink silky robe and walked towards the mirror before grabbing my hair blower and dried off my hair.

Once done, I walked out the bathroom and opened the wardrobe. Picking up a black tank top with denim shorts. After getting dressed I set my hair into a lazy bun.

I decided to take a walk around town today, to get my mind out of what's happening. I mentally prayed that I wouldn't walk pass to Adrien today. But unfortunately luck wasn't on my side. I opened my door and was about to go out when ai saw a figure standing in front of me. My heart started to beat uncontrollably. His intense scare sending shivers down my spine.

What is he doing here? 

"We need to talk"

I gulped
