Football was honestly the last thing on my mind, I've actually enjoyed not having to play it for the past few weeks. I feel like I should be missing going out on the field since for most of my life, I've lived and breathed football, thanks to my dad being obsessed with it.
I was hoping to keep the news of my schools football team (or lack of a football team) nicely hidden from my father but sadly, the car incident was on the news and I got a grilling on why he wasn't told straight away.
Christine, my fathers current girlfriend was staying over tonight, she was okay I guess, I'd rather her over the other gold digging sluts my dad has taken home in the past . Christine had two sons who are older then me by a few years and a daughter a few months younger then me. I haven't met them yet since the boys were in the military and the girl was in an England boarding school.
"have you thought about what college you want to go to?" Christine asked curiously, sitting on the couch beside me, I glanced at her shrugging "Dad wants me to go to Stanford" I muttered, apparently it had the best chance for getting me into the big leagues with football.
"I didn't ask what your father wants. I asked what college you want to go to?" Christine repeated sipping her coffee, I never gave it much thought, it's always been talked about that I go to Stanford, there was never an option to look elsewhere.
I kept quiet cause I honestly don't know, I wouldn't even know what else to study apart from what my dad has laid down for me, sport and business. My whole life has been surrounded by it so i never really thought about doing something else.
My father came in a few minutes later, grabbing the remote from me and changing it to a sport channel that had football playing on it. I huffed rolling my eyes, I was enjoying watching Big Bang Theory, not that my father cares about it. "Can we watch something else but football?" I asked groaning in annoyance, my father just looked at me if I had asked him to lasso the moon. I guess not.
"How's work?" Christine asked, referring to my hours at the Gym. In all honesty it wasn't that bad, I actually quite enjoy my self there. Jaxon, when he isn't pissed off at me will usually allow me to have a small workout session or get me in the ring to help with training since Xavier can't at the moment.
Xavier Coles. He has managed to tip my world upside down and inside out. The people who I once considered friends now hate my guts and also apparently were never my friends to begin with. I've also found that if he is to close to me my brain shuts down and he seems to become oddly more attractive every time I see him.
No homo right?
"He's cleaning toilets all afternoon when he suppose to be doing football, I'd say pretty shit, right son?" My father answered, I rolled my eyes, glancing at him.
"I actually don't mind it. I only cleaned toilets once and for the rest it's really easy. Jaxon even gets me in the ring and teaches me a few things" I said shrugging, father snorted muttering under his breath something I couldn't catch.

The night air was crisp, a cool wind blew right through my thin shirt, making me shiver. I huffed wanting nothing more then to go home and sleep, but sadly I had a gym to trash and egotistical jerks to impress.
Rolling my eyes, as I played with my phone, the screen showing the same screen that has been there since I left home. The group of criminals were ten minutes late, which I shouldn't be surprised at but still.
