Help || Xavier Coles

Things didn't go to plan. Well no shit, Callum's arms were cut up from landing on glass, looking worse then what I had. He had a few bruises but all up wasn't hurt badly, it would all heal in the next week or so.

Thankfully the damage is only in the boxing room so it isn't going to be much to replace hopefully. We will have to go to the gym later today, when it's a reasonable time of morning.
Hopefully this was my second and final warning from Joel's crew of criminals, I don't particularly know what they are warning me of but hopefully this is the last of it.

Papa said that the police managed to catch all fifteen boys, most of them of legal age so they will be getting trialed as adults. There were only four boys who were from school which will go to juvie.

I sighed walking up the stairs, Callum following close behind. I opened the door to the guest bedroom glancing at Callum, "get some sleep, we'll figure shit out when we wake up" I muttered, he nodded stepping forward joining me in standing in the doorframe, our chests pushed together and up way to close for my brain to compute normally.

"Night" I muttered sidestepping and walking to my room, closing the door hard enough to kill any feelings or stupid ideas that wanted to follow me to my sleep but not hard enough to wake my sister cause I'm a considerate brother.

I sighed shaking my head, maybe if I was blind then it would be easier, I would be blissfully unaware of how attractive Callum is. No physical attractions means my heart doesn't get any ideas.

A few hours later we all woke up, Dad had to work. I quickly threw something together for breakfast, conversation was mostly  about what needs to be done. Callum borrowed some of my clothing, which surprisingly fit perfectly, just a little tight around the biceps, not that anyone is complaining. Well I'm not.

We had a steady stream of police officers and detectives flow through the gym till around lunch time before we could start cleaning up. Callum walked towards me pocketing his phone before helping me to sweep the smashed prices of glass and mirror.

Eva and Sam came through minutes later, offering their help along with James, Leroy and Evan who asked where they could start. "See Jaxon I wasn't half bad, I didn't trash anyone's cars or work places" James said jokingly, as he looked around at the damage. Papa laughed shaking his head as he rattled off jobs that need doing. Autumn snatching Eva to help her with office work.

"el almuerzo está servido! Tacos! Empanadas! Tlayudas! Enchiladas! Tamales! Enough to feed an army" a voice called out, I looked up seeing a smallish yellow van with "Bueno, Bonito y Barato" printed on the side of it.

I glanced at Calum who grinned grabbing my arm pulling me towards the van that four more people streamed out of. "Xav meet my friend Rolando" he introduced me to the tanned boy, I've seen him around the school with his spiked hair looking something out of the year 2000.  "Andy meet the infamous Xavier Coles" Callum introduced, I shook the boy's hand, the others introduced them selfs as cousins.  Jude, Luka, Oliver and Charlie who was the youngest of them all . Who were helping with food.

More people started to show up, which Callum dragged me over to meet, "This is my main man, Mason" Callum said as he gave the dark skinned boy a hug. I greeted him as Callum greeted more people, a mixture of girls and boys, some from school.

"You did this?" I asked Callum watching as the group moved to get some food while meeting my father. "Yeah I called in a favour. Most of the boys are from the team, the half that hated Joel with passion so they were happy to lend a hand." Callum stated shrugging.

I've learnt over the past few weeks that Callum isn't all that bad of a person, yeah he can be an asshole sometimes but for the rest he's quiet alright. I guess I judged the whole football team a bit harshly thinking they were all like Joel, when they're not. I mean they are helping out on a Saturday to clean when they could be doing something else.
