Chapter ~ 13

Lunch was uncomfortable and awkward. Dad had invited Anthony and Maurine over for a lunch, seeing as the funeral wasn't exactly the place to sort out past family drama's.

Kole, was sitting between me and Autumn lost in his own mind. His face was cut up, though the most serious injury was the deep gash on his chest which will turn into a battle scar. He has a few nicely coloured bruises but that's about it. How the boy walked away with the injuries he has is mind blowing.

"You alright bud?" I asked softly running my fingers gently through his feathery light brown hair, which use to be grown out to his shoulders but was cut off. "I miss Mum and Dad" he whispered tears filling his blueish grey eyes. My heart lurched painfully for him, i was five when my mum died and six when my father was taken away, I only spent two months  in a foster house before Jaxon and Gabriel took me home.

"I know" I replied moving my chair over slightly, pulling the boy into my side. "They are gone but you still have all of us. We'd do anything for you, alright? Lilly and Mark are going to take care of you." I muttered pressing a kiss to the top of the boy's head.

"I don't want another mum and Dad!" He sobbed getting the attention of the table, Lilly and mark looking sadly at the boy. "Honey look at me" Autumn said softly, "Lilly and Mark aren't going to replace your Mum and Dad sweet. You're just going to sleepover at their house, and then if you want, you can come over here and stay with us when ever. What ever you want baby boy." Autumn said softly  leaning over wiping the tears from his cheek.

"Your father has tied finding you the past few years, he had no luck until..." Maurine spoke up for the first time, I glanced at dad's reaction, catching the end of an eye roll. Which I could understand, it's wouldn't of been hard to find us, just search for papa and you'd find the gym. 

"Did you try google?" Autumn muttered under her breath.

Today I get my new car, the school paid out their share of the agreement that was drawn up, the boys involved in trashing my car are all in juvie still.

Apparently Joel's crew have stuck their fingers in a few dark and dangerous holes, so they are getting trialed for more crimes they've committed. Joel at the moment is leading in the charges being the leader of the gang, which meant he was the mastermind behind most of the crimes.

I grinned widely seeing my new baby, the sales man handing me my keys to my convertible Ford Mustang. It was the new model up from what I had, just this was a convertible and had 5 seats instead of just two.

Autumn grinned calling shotgun before sliding in, I laughed giving my parents quick hugs before getting into the drivers seat. "See you at home" Dad said chuckling as he walked away with papa.

"Xavier?" Autumn asked as I parked in our drive way. A grin crawling onto my face as i pressed the button for the roof to come up. New car novelty.

"Are you gay?" She asked. I'v never really talked about my sexuality before, it's always been an internal debate. I've had my girl crushes through school, non lasted longer then a week or two, but I had them.

So I guess I'm attracted to women to a point, but it wouldn't surpass that. Men for me are interesting and I see my self being romantically involved with them in the long term.

"I like women, I just want to get married to a man." I said simply which basically was me coming out to my sister, who is the first person I've told of my attraction to the same gender.
