[Chapter 8] Realisation

As the pair battles in your class continues to go on, you thoroughly try and sort out what's with your strange thoughts.

Why do I act weird around Todoroki ? More like think strangely ?

Placing your hand on your chin, you try and figure it out causing you to space out looking at the ground. Without realising that you were standing alone weirdly, the red spiked hair dude places his hand on your shoulder, giving you a fright.

"hECCC ??" you screeched, causing half the class to look at you strangely.
(It's 1am for me don't question what I write xd)
Looking behind you, you see the red haired boy staring at you.
"Oh hey [L/N] !" he grins cheerfully
(Awgghsge he's so cute)
Unaware of what just happened, you return the greeting with
"Hi, classmate ?"

He grinned and pointed his thumb towards his chest
"I am Kirishima Eijirou ! You can call me Eijirou because you were manly in that battle."

You blinked twice at what just happened. Whether a guy just allowed you to call them by their first name or that you were called manly.
(Fun fact, my name means manly in French 👀)

So bright eheheh !

"Nice name, uh Eijirou ?" You tilt your head in wander. As for you, you just had finished your pair, rather a trio battle against a pair. The green floofed hair boy, Midoriya was sent to the medical room, suffering many broken bones and Uraraka here making friends.

You? You were here wondering what is strangely going on with your mind, why it acts different around a certain person. It's only been 2 days since joining UA.

Your mind thought so much about this one topic in your head, you yet again hadn't realised you spaced out into your thinking mode.

"[L/N]-san ? You just spaced out again." The red spiked hair male informed you, snapping you out of your thoughts.

Oh hec not again

"Oh y-yeah that happens to me quite commonly," You stuttered rubbing your hand on the back of your neck

"Who's battling right now Eijirou ?" You asked staring at the monitor in front of the whole class

He stared at it in amazement to what his other classmates are capable of

"So cool !" He cheered.

You place your hand on his shoulder to bring him back to reality.

"Uh Eijirou ?" You questioned

He blinked and quickly turned his head to you and apologised for not hearing you.

"You don't need to bow for me... I'm not that important,"

He frowned but shot back with
"All my friends are important to me, no matter what !" His smile was so bright you thought you may have needed sunglasses

So... bright !!

"Your smile is so bright how does that even work ?!" You asked, trying to cover your eye with your arms

He shrugged his shoulders and walked away to join with the rest of the class.

You staying there, you still were in confusion, you still weren't sure how and when you started feeling like this.
