We took Violet and Jayce to the entrance of the track. Jayce looked at Violet with an excited face. "Thanks for inviting me here Violet, I had a lot of fun."
"Me too, Jayce. We should come back next weekend."
"Well Jayce, Violet, we would love to see y'all back here next weekend. In fact, I'm inviting y'all back here next weekend to hang with Parker and I."
"Wow! Thank you, Saraya. Jayce and I will be back and don't forget to hit up Moody Park every now and then. I live on 7th street."
"My house is on 6th street. I'll definitely see you at Moody Park. How about tomorrow? I'm going to watch my friends son play baseball. You should meet me there. It's at noon."
"Will do. Well I guess I'll see you tomorrow."
"Can't wait. Now y'all better get home, it's almost 1 a.m." They turned and walked to their car. Parker and I headed back to our tents in the pits. My car was covered with a purple tarp. And there was a not on it. It read Quit racing. Or else. I'm not sure what that means but I don't care because I'll quit when I'm dead. I ripped the tarp off my car and my car had red paint splattered and read Listen to the note. Or else. Once again I didn't really care. I took out some black and lavender paint to cover up the red. My car was in need of a new paint job anyway. I looked outside my tent to make sure no one was coming because they would tell me to go home and get some sleep. Lix was hanging around outside with his new girlfriend Paige. He wouldn't come in my tent anyway, he'll probably just go in his trailer in the back and watch a movie or something. He sleeps at the track on the weekends to get his car ready for the next weekend. I went back inside my tent and used the black to cover up every inch of the car. When that dried I did a second coat because I always scrape the wall every race and a second coat will be useful. When that dried it was about 4 a.m. I left my tent and went to the snack stands by the bleachers. No one was there so I helped myself. I grabbed a Coke, Pepsi, bagel, and some fries. When I returned to the tent I painted my 04 in lavender and ate my food while that dried. Then I headed home around 6 a.m.
When I got home an hour later I didn't bother taking a shower, I just laid on the couch and watched a movie. I could hear Parker snoring in his room. I put on a calming movie. It was Fast and Furious. I loved the entire series. It's only the best movie series out there. R.I.P PAUL WALKER!!!! I stared at the TV contently in my black and white shorts and my Metallica hoodie. When the movie ended I was so tired. It was about 11 a.m. But there's no time to sleep. My friend Mandy's son, T.J. , has a baseball game at noon. I got in the shower so Mandy won't think I'm a loser when she sees me. When I got out I dried my hair and put on makeup and a lot of concealer to make me look less tired. I hate wearing makeup it makes me look so old. I put on my crop-top hoodie and short shorts. It was 11:45. If I walk it will take 15 minutes because I live 3 blocks from the park, but if I drive in my newly painted car it will only take five and I will be able to get food at the snack stand. I ran to my garage and pulled the tarp off my car which is weird because I don't remember putting a tarp over my car. When I pulled it off there were red letters on my car again. It read I told you to quit, now I'm gonna have to be aggressive. I didn't have time to worry about the letters. I just took Parker's car. He was still asleep when I got out of the shower, he won't need to go anywhere. I drove as fast as I can. I got there with a minute to spare and I got food at the snack stand. Just some fries and chicken tenders, plus a Pepsi. I sat on the bleachers and watched the teams practice.
When they cleared the field to start the game Violet came and sat next to me. "Hi, Saraya."
"Hey Violet."
