Connected To Death. Literally...

My hands shook with fear. Being stuck… With Death… For eternity…?! What if I don’t want to be immortal?! It’s nice and all, but everyone I know will die… Except for other angels, and Death.

“I’m so sorry. I made a big mistake. I just couldn’t let you die…” He sighed.

I nod slightly and exhale. “Okay. It’s all right. Everyone makes mistakes… I make a lot, so I forgive you. But… Who are the… Creepypastas? Where will I stay? I…”

“I have it all set up. You will stay with me, for the next few days while your room is being set up. The Creepypastas, are a type of monster… Well were humans, just with some tweaks.”

Then something hit me. “Wait… Like Slenderman and Jeff the Killer?!” I squeaked nervously.

“Yes! Those are only two of them. Although, I advise to stay away from Jeffery. I will introduce you to the rest of the Pastas now.” Death stood and pulled his hood up.

I frowned slightly. Does he always keep his hood up? I guess it’s his… ‘Thing.’ I stood up too. Many emotions rushed into my head. I was really nervous. I was going to meet, killers, and insane people, who I had to live with. Yay…

I took a deep breath and nodded my head. “O-Okay…” I stuttered out.

Death bit his lip. “Are you afraid?” He asked.

I nodded, admitting the truth.

He cracked a sad smile. “There are only three people here that you should fear. Jeff, Eyeless Jack, and myself.”

I frowned. “B-But why you…?” Duh. Okay, that was a stupid question. He was Death himself.

He sighed slightly. “I have… Bad… Problems with controlling… Well… The dark side of my mind. The part that is Death.”

I chewed on my lip nervously. “J-Just… Remember who you are. Remember darkness is not controlling you, unless you let it. Don’t let the demons rule. Don’t fear them either. For, they should fear you, because you are the one in charge up here.” I tapped his brain lightly.

Death stared down at me. “Thank you...” He whispers.

I tilt my head and move my hand from the side of his face. “For what?”

He gave me a small smile. “Giving me hope. Not being scared of me. Reminding me who I am…” He mumbles sheepishly.

Death just thanked me… Okay, I am going insane. I giggled softly and grinned at the ground.

“What?!” Death snapped out of his sad, but happy look.

I giggled again. “I-I just never thought… That Death, would thank me, and apologize to me, ever. Let alone in a period of twenty minutes.”

Death scowled. “Be quiet. Let’s go already!”

I bit my lip, and looked back up at him. “K.” I nodded.

He opened up the door, and walked out.

I slip out of the room into the hallway. I look around slightly. This was the only room on the floor… But he had a smaller room… Weird. I shrugged and followed after him, down the sleek spiraling stairs.
