I paused before giving my answer. "uhh.. not exactly." i lied.

he shrugged his shoulders and we had small talk for a bit before we headed to class together side by side.

I was really liking Jimin so far - he was friendly , kind and funny , not to me stoop handsome. he was after all the first person to greet me of this school - he was my only friend.

he held the doors open for me as i walked in, him following after me. We were both a little early , therefore we decided to just talk for a while.

"what was your old school like?" he asked.

"well, it.. it was okay, the people there were overall kind to me once they got to know me."

"that seems nice." he cracked a smile.

"i had a boyfriend, but we broke up before he moved schools." I was stuttering to tell him.

He tilted his head and his expression turned to curious.

"was the relationship..."

"toxic?" I finished the sentence for him.  He nodded his head. "Well, it wasn't that bad. I mean he was kind and all, but it just had to come to an end, you know?"

He nodded his head once again understanding, but then looking down.

"are you okay?" i asked.

"yeah, it's just.." he stuttered, "i was just in the same position like you."

his sentence was a eye widening phrase.

"woah, really..!?" I said in a surprising reaction.

"yeah, but i was the one that got dumped." He didn't dare to make eye contact with me when he was explaining himself.

"well, Jimin, when did that happen?"

"A few months ago. Maybe a year, even."

I suddenly felt a pity for him.

i don't know why, but i just did.

I couldn't believe this handsome and kind man, got dumped by his (probably) new girlfriend. I mean, who can resist him?

"but it's okay, (Y/N), you don't need to worry." He tried to smile after making contact with me.

That's what i noticed - he was always smiling. I was guessing he was that type of person that loved to laugh, and the one that loved to make others laugh as well.

He seemed like an overall great guy.

I giggled back at him rubbing his shoulder giving him a sign it was going to be okay.
