My hands quivered in fear of my new school. After what happened at my old one, i was honestly scared to see what was waiting for me here.

But i sucked it up and tried to confidentially head inside, but my confidence came crumbling down when i felt all eyes shoot on me.

I tried giving friendly waves and smiles but all i got in response was ugly glares and noses wrinkled in distaste.

I frowned and my head shot down, i was approaching my new locker as I twisted in the correct code for it.

Swinging the door open, I placed my books inside and shut it back closed. Swooping a hair behind my ear, i turned around to spot a handsome and cute boy before my eyes.

"Hi!" he said, giving me a smile.

At first i was confused, but eventually I smiled back and decided to introduce myself, hoping i wouldn't screw up. "Hi, i'm new here"

"I could tell, i haven't seen you before. My names Jimin." he smiled once again, his eyes squinting as he did.

I could feel a blaze of red fade across my cheeks. "I-I'm (Y/N).. it's nice to meet you." I stuttered.

"that's a really pretty name."

I gave him a grin in response, thanking him.

"oh, and i gotta tell you, this school is amazing and even though the people seem mean at first, they'll grow to like you and eventually they probably will like you a lot."

"has it happened before?"

"usually, if there's a new student people are mean but once you make a friend, it'll all go uphill from there."

I grinned and had a feeling in my stomach. What is the correct term? Butterflies?

I wasn't entirely sure - but in general, it was a feeling i never usually got when i met new guys i didn't know.

I mean, cmon, we literally just met today and i don't know a single thing about him.

Is it possible ? to have a crush.. on somebody you just met that day?

"Thank you.. i really appreciate it."

his mouth curved into a smile and a small dimple poked outside of his cheek, causing me to go a light pink for a second.

"i was wondering if we would get close maybe. I don't have many friends, after all.."

I nearly screamed when he said the words, and i was rapidly nodding and didn't even know it.

"yeah!! I would REALLY -" i cleared my throat catching myself from nearly squealing. "I would like to do that."

he nodded and stepped away, waving me a goodbye. I waved back and turned, smiling at what just happened.
