Half way through the night I wake up feeling less chilly than I had been when I went to bed a few hours ago. Even my head has found a comfortable spot on the floor. I warily glance to the side and suddenly stiffen as I come to the realization that there is a strong solid arm around my waist. I had been pulled against a firm tight bare chest all too familiar with me. I move my body around to face him and see that he is fast asleep. Sebastian had somehow crawled to my side of the fire and managed to sneakily pull me to his chest. I grit my teeth as I look to Dan who is half asleep at his posting. I glance to Derek and see that he is possibly sleeping too, though it's hard to tell with his injuries. I shift around trying to get Sebastian to release me. Unfortunately for me his arm tightens around my waist as he nestles his head closer to my neck. I inhale a sharp breath. I would have to let it go at least for now.

It feels like I have only dozed off for five minutes until the flashing lights of a vehicle approaching us has me alert and oriented. Sebastian and I both spring apart and stand up as Dan comes to stand by our side.

"Do you think it's Wez?" I ask trying to squint my eyes to get a better visual of the driver behind the wheel.

The large black SUV comes to a complete stop directly in front of us followed closely behind by another small sleek black sports car. I notice Derek trying to drag himself away from the flames of the fire and I rush to his side to aide him. Dan and Sebastian stand close by keeping their attention focused completely on the vehicles.

"Don't move Derek, I don't know if the cars belong to us." I whisper as I help him sit up.

"Why would you be worried about me?"

"I don't want them to hurt you. Just let me explain the situation."

"Those are my men Adina."

"What?"

"I told you they would track me down. I recognize the BMW, it belongs to Alex."

I keep my my hands pressed to his back. "Tell them not to hurt my friends, please." I whisper slowly.

A tall man climbs out of BMW. He is wearing a long black sleek expensive looking coat and leather steeled toed boots. His midnight black hair is messily splayed over his eyes shielding most of his complexion. His eyes are somber as the gravel protests against his weight with each deliberate step he takes in our direction. He walks over to the large SUV and gestures with his hand for the people to come out. Two men step out from either side of the passenger sides of the large car and move to stand next to the tall man. My body freezes when they draw their guns from their holsters and aim them on each of us.

"Boss?" I hear the tall man call out as his eyes redirect from the guys standing in front of me to the man in question on the floor.

"Orders." The tall man says refusing to step an inch closer to us.

"Standby. I am okay. Don't shoot them. Let's just get out of here before the pigs show up." Derek says in a serious tone that leaves no room for argument.

"Are we leaving them here?" The man asks.

Derek glances up to me and smirks. "No, take them with us."

The tall man comes to stand in front of us and I narrow my eyes up at him. "Move." He demands.

"Alex." Derek says in warning.

"No Derek it's fine. I don't need you standing up for me. Listen here buddy, you don't talk to me like that. I don't give a shit if you are a mafia or not that is no way to approach a woman you got me?" I hiss as I remove my arms from Derek.
