Sebastian POV

Twenty four hours later..

I push Daniel out of my way and sock Wezley right on his jaw. My fist connects with his face hard enough to make him fall on his ass.

Daniel grabs my arm before I can give him another fist to his mouth. "God damn it! What the hell is up with you Sebastian?!"

Wezley climbs up to his feet very slowly as he grips his chin assessing for any damage. The fury I feel burning through my chest right now has made me hate the man in front of me with a passion.

"All this shit is because of you. If you would have been honest with your daughter from the beginning we could have prevented all of this from happening!" I seethe.

"You know Adina is Wezley's daughter?" Daniel asks surprised.

"He used her and you were an accomplice. To think I believed your shitty act when you kept calling her your sister." I turn to Daniel.

Dan's eyes narrow. "I had no choice. I gave my word I wouldn't say shit unless the circumstances deemed it suitable. I'm a government official working for the law. I can't get into family disputes. Wez assured me no one would get hurt." He defends.

I snort. "So at what point was the circumstance not suitable? When Derek almost killed her for thinking she killed Mikhaël or when Maqueuly found out she wasn't his daughter and almost killed her then too? Or how about all those other times she went out to do your shitty missions and risked her life for you?"

Dan bows his head in shame. My fist twitch as I itch for a fight.

"Damion is dead Wezley! He's FUCKING DEAD!" I knock one of the lamps off the nightstand next to me.

It shatters to the floor and I make a point of kicking it hard so the pieces hit the wall ahead of me. The anger coursing through my veins just keeps fueling as I look at the man responsible for hurting the woman I love. To think he could be my father in law. Fuck him and his stupid operation. 

"We know Sebastian. We got word from one of the lieutenants at the station that they found a charred body. They identified him this morning." Dan says softly.

"How do you think Adina is going to take this news? Especially after what happened two nights ago."

Daniel's eyes flicker from me to Wez in confusion. "I never did get word on what the hell happened the night Adina was admitted."

Wez shakes his head and walks over to the couch. "She lost my potential grandchild."

Daniel falls back in complete shock. His mouth is agape as he looks to me and Wez for a long time before I see the light-bulb click in his head. "She was pregnant?"

I sigh as I let my head fall back on the wall. This was all a disaster. "Yea she was. The fetus grew out of her uterus which caused her to hemorrhage and nearly die that night. There were other complications that the doctor couldn't really get into after breaking the news to us."

"She didn't even get the full story either since she walked out of the hospital to save everyone's behind. It was all futile since Maqueuly discovered she wasn't his daughter." Wez adds. 

"So Adina knows your her father?" Dan asks Wezley. 

"I didn't get the opportunity to tell her. I don't know if that bastard told her everything. I would imagine he would have." 

"This is so fucked up." I grumble harshly. 

"I get you are pissed off Sebastian but what matters is that she is okay. She is alive. He didn't kill her. I know we lost Damion he was one of our greatest troops and he will be formally recognized for all of his hard work and dedication to our team."
