Rene pov I got dressed quickly I was running late. I text Rain to tell him I was going to be late. I ran down the stairs Dad asked me what I was doing " going over to a friends I told Mom " I say opening the door running out. Mark was out of town with friends for spring break. They left yesterday I had other plans I was going to get my prom dress and get Rain stilinski to be my date. I got in Mark and i car Mom said we were allowed one till we graduated. I pulled into Rains driveway running up. Sammy and stiles and my mom were out of town helping Connor and Zeke move some stuff back home since they graduate with their bacholers in two weeks. They took a year off after everything happened. Which was understandable Rain was still scared sometimes if we were out after dark. I wasn't I had him and I know he'd never let anything happen to me. I knocked and walked in I didn't see him so I went to his room. I blushed when I saw him ive seen him with his shirt off but I always tried not to look or linger. " I Im I sorry " I stutter out looking at the floor. I heard him chuckle softly. " Rene it's fine not like you haven't see me with out one before." I nodded. " so you said you wanted to ask me something before going to get stuff for prom." He says walking past me and going into zekes old room. " uh yeah so I was wondering do you have a -" I couldn't get it out. I sighed god I'm so stupid why couldn't I just ask him. It was Rain hed say yes just because he wouldn't want to hurt my feelings. " Rene look what I made " I turned around I read it and smiled " really ?" " uh yeah is that okay I mean I don't really have anyone else and you're a great person. Mom told me to pick someone I knew I'd have fun with and wouldn't want me to drink soo that's you " I took the box of donuts and smiled " uh I get 8 and you get 4 deal ? " " sounds unfair but sure " he sighed.

We sat at the table eating the donuts and drinking milk. Well he wasn't he was drinking water. Weirdo ! The truth was that I've liked Rain since the 8th grade. He started texting someone and they must've said something cause he blushed and rolled his eyes. When we were finished I washed my hands and went to the bathroom. " ready?" He asked hopping up. "Yeah " he grabbed what he needed and I drove us to the the dress and tux store. I wanted a short dress maybe a two piece. Dad wouldn't exactly be happy but Mom said prom and homecoming dresses were all my choice. I had three and I went to ask Rain about one I'd picked up it was black but he wasnt behind me anymore. I put it up and walked around looking for him. He was talking to a sales lady she was holding a light blue dress. " hey there you are. " he turned around and smiled " yeah so what about this one ?" I liked it it was very nice simple but elegant I nodded my head I went to check the price tag and size. " don't worry it'll work " he said and lady smiled. I went and tried all four on The pink one I had didn't look right on me but I loved the purple one and so did the sales lady I assumed Rain did he blushed and looked away. The teal one I decided was more for graduation and the blue one I loved it too. I decided on the blue one and got the teal one for graduation.
