Sammy pov
I was running to get dressed. I heard him walk in down stairs and run up the stairs to get ready.
" hun you aren't ready yet " he says taking off his uniform.
" I got out of work 30 minutes late. I been home for like 20 minutes , had to retake a shower. Don't worry didn't wash my hair as you can tell. "  he ran in to take a quick shower.
My phone rang.
Ugh !   I crawled across the bed to get it
" hello ?"
" mom are you guys coming ?"
" yes Rain we are okay. Just don't worry we will be there "
I heard him sigh " Rain zeke is already there saving our seats okay ? We aren't missing this. This is your college graduation!"
" I know just ... do you think he'll come?" I sighed and rubbed my forehead.

" I don't know ... hopefully not okay if he does I hope he's pleasant "   We said our goodbyes
  I got finished getting dressed.

I sat on the edge of the bed
I wanted to cry my whole world was changing today. My youngest child was graduating college who had a 4 year old.  My oldest was on his 2nd child to adopt and had their own house. I had to tell them I had cancer. I wasn't a wolf and I was human before I already had the gene in me to get it.
   I was having surgery Tuesday to have a double mastectomy.  
   Stiles came out buttoning his shirt.
" hey is this shirt okay ?"  I nodded
He came over and kneeled in front of me. 
" baby you are going to be fine.  We are going to be fine. Our children and grandchildren will be fine.  " he kissed my forehead.
I nodded and held my tears in. 

We went out to the Jeep and headed to graduation.

" do you think Derek will be here" I ask giving his hand a squeeze.
" maybe ? I don't know Rene graduated last year. Mark doesn't graduate till December from his school. " Derek had stopped talking to us when we found out Rene was pregnant. I don't know why he didn't like rain but something about him made Derek hate him.

I sighed   He dropped me off at the front door and I followed everyone else in.  I looked at phone and followed the letters and numbers Zeke sent. 
I went up and looked around
" Sammy !" I snapped my head over to the left
Rene waved with Conner.
I smile and make my way through.
" hey I thought you had to work " hugging Connor
" I did but I worked double yesterday so the other guy could work my shift today. "
" that's good uh where's Zeke. "
" oh the phone with the agency"
I nod   their daughter was with Connors parents today.
" where's Elliot ?"    " with mom I didn't think a 4 year old would handle this very well. "
   Rene looked me over and teared up
I lean over to her ear " calm down the boys don't know " and lean back
  " what type "
" stage 2 breast cancer in only one but I'm getting a double done " I say quietly
Zeke comes back and I'm starting to get little anxious where stiles is as the graduates start to walk in.
" where's dad "
" I thought he was just parking the car "
Rene looked past me with wide eyes
I turned to look
" look who I found in the parking lot "
It was Sara
" where's Elliot ?!" Rene asked frantically
" with your dad "
I think all of us looked at her like she was crazy. " don't worry both your brothers are there too! " she said sitting on the other side of stiles.
I sighed and looked back at everyone in their chairs.   Sara's and my relationship had been very stressed.  We barely talked and when we did it was just about the kids. 
  I could feel her eyes burning into me. 

Ignored it and waited for my baby boy to graduate college.
I watched him walk across the stage
I think We were the loudest bunch in there.
After it was over I went to the bathroom.
Sara would follow, I knew she would to ask about the smell.

She did just that washing my hands.
" when did you find out and how bad ?"
I walk over to the dryer
" I found out couple weeks ago and stage 2 almost 3. We have no idea why I got it. Expect make cause I was to far along in life when I got bit. For the gene to just go away. "I'm having surgery double so if you don't mind I'd like to go see my family now. "
I turned and walked out.
I went and found them, Rain hugged me tight " I love you mom thank you "
I hugged him tight
" I love you too baby boy "
  When we let go  I looked over at stiles
He nodded
" okay guys and Rene uh we are having dinner at the house. but before dinner we need to have a family talk okay? "
They looked a little concerned
" Sara Rene will pick up Elliott after dinner okay ?" I say
She looked upset but understood.
She nodded and hugged The kids and left.
