Ch 54

Stiles pov
I put a new ice pack on Rains ankle he winced.
" I'm sorry bud " I held his hand as a made circles on the back of his hand. It always calmed him down. The nurse came in and gave him more medication switching out the bags.
He looked over at me " dad "
" yeah ?" He sighed " I messed up didn't I ?"
I looked for the right words. " in my mind no , I stood up to Jake when I was younger and he was in the wrong. But I apologized later on. "
He had left the hospital and confronted Derek which just put him in intensive care.
" what Derek did wasn't right. " he mumbled
I nodded. I just held his hand , Derek had to know they were mates or going to be. No one in their right mind would take an alpha on.
  " get some sleep okay ? Zeke and Connor will be in soon to take over for me okay ?"
" dad I love her I'm pretty sure that's how I feel"
I patted his hand " I know , open your eyes one more time for me. " he did and closed them again. anytime  he talked about her. His eyes changed to purple like mine did before Sammy and I "mated".  My eyes didn't always change but when I was in distress they did. Because I needed her she was my saving grace.
My phone buzzed I looked at it. It was Zeke telling me he was here.  They only let 2 at a time back in this unit.
I let go and walked out to the waiting room. There were couple people in here with them.
Zeke came over and hugged me I held him tight.
I let go. They both looked nervous
" it's pretty bad , he keeps his eyes closed most of the time because it hurts to open them. His left side of his face is swollen but it's going down a bit. He will talk and it sounds little rough around the edges sometimes.  Hey give him few sips of his drink then he'll be fine.  His whole right leg is casted up , his pelvis is fine uh his left foot is broken. Uh they did shave his head because they weren't sure how hard he hit his Head.  They do CT scans on him every hour checking for brain swelling. " Connor had tears in his eyes and Zeke looked like he was about to go murder someone I'd assume Derek.
" Zeke calm down go back there and keep him company and Connor make sure he doesn't do anything stupid" I gave both of them a hug before leaving. 
I picked Sammy up from work and we headed to Sara and Derek's.
She had her claws out  I sat my hand on her thigh " it'll be okay baby "
When we parked most of the pack was here. She got out and walked up I could feel how ready she was to take derek to a inch from losing his life. 
  They were out in the back yard standing around. The tension went higher.
Sara stood by derek but she looked pissed off.  Rene was standing by Scott Allison issac and Cora. Ethan Aiden Danny and Lydia had the boys.   Liam and Hayden weren't here.  I went and made sure I was out of sight with Derek.  When I signed ' he's breathing and he still loves you ' to Rene she had tears in her eyes but smiled and nodded.
" why ? " is all Sammy could get out.
" he touched my daughter and he knows the rules "
" so putting my child in the ICU was the right fucking thing to do ? " with each word she got closer to him.
He didn't answer her. " answer me Derek !! If this situation was flipped. I wouldn't have hurt your child you know why ? Because I have a heart and it's that they are children. My child isn't a full wolf okay he can't heal like you. He could have died. He still can if his brain starts swelling ! ". She was chest to chest with him.
" if my child dies. I'll take your fucking life. " she looked at Sara " with no remorse " She turned to walk away.
" is that a threat ?" Derek asked.
Sammy smirked before turning around
" oh Derek didn't you learn the first time I had the gun to your head. I don't make threats I make promises "
Rene smiled at that along with Sara.
" just like the promise to your self that you wouldn't get pregnant in highschool? That if you ever did it would be a mistake ?" Derek said folding his arms over his chest.
Sammy had her claws out now. Oh god.
" a child isn't a mistake. My child isn't a mistake. You need help Derek. I don't know if your wolf is just going through a dominate stage. But you need to get your head back on straight. "
His eyes changed " I'm not letting my daughter go through what you did.  Get pregnant and ruin your whole life? Hid the child from the dad ? Then come crawling to him like he did you wrong ? My daughter isn't now or ever going to date your son. "
Sammy was back over to him now
" listen Derek I might not have made all good choices in my life but I've gotten back on track years ago.  Stiles and I are great together and our kids are fucking amazing. So I'd advise you to shut up before you get your teeth knocked in the back of your throat. Your lucky I don't beat the shit out of you now .... Rene will be in college soon are you going to do this to all the boys she likes ? Or just my son ? Someone who's not going to Judge her or run because she's a werewolf "  Sammy stared at him and he didn't reply.  She walked over to Rene and whispered something to her and walked back
To the car. 
I looked around and waved as I went to the car. I texted Scott when I got in the car with Sammy.
' hey meet at my house. I'm going to drop her at the hospital. I think I'm on to something. Don't say anything '
I sent it and started backing out.
It was a quiet ride to the hospital when I parked. I went to tell her I was going home but she spoke first.
" push your seat back "
I did but it only went like an inch max.
" why am I -" before I could get my question fully out. She climbed over and leaned my seat back some. She sat on my lap.
" can we just be stressless for couple minutes "
" uh I don't know " she smiled and hit my arm.
" stiles god not sex. I'm not having sex in the parking lot of a hospital. Just make out with me gosh "
She started kissing me  the more heated it got the rougher she got.  Her claws came out and I had to stop her.  " sam hey hey calm down my neck is not Derek's " she started crying
" hey baby what's wrong ...well other than rain"
I wiped her tears away " why did he have to do that to my baby. Our baby he knows I've lost two of them. Why did he think this was okay. Stiles I can't go on if he dies. I can't handle losing another child.... promise me "
  I teared up " no you aren't going to kill your self ! We've came to far and ...and I can't do it. My dad was strong I can't do this by myself "
  She hugged me " I can't do it with out my boys. Rains our little angel and zeke looks like you but he's his brain is wired so much like mine expect his awkward spaz thing that's all you babe " she laughed
I started to connect the dots. " wiring " I mumbled. It's Derek's brain
"Babe I have to go. Go inside I'll be back later okay. ". She looked confused but crawled over to her seat and got her purse then got out.
" stiles don't get your self hurt " she frowned
I smiled " I won't I'll have Scott ". Her face didn't change " so both of you all will get hurt great " she shut the door and headed inside.

Rene pov
I told them I was going inside after Sammy and stiles left. I got in and got my backpack. Headed out the front door I started running to the hospital. I ran in and got to the elevator to go up. I couldn't stop smiling Rain was the only person that made me feel this way. I never wanted him to leave or me have to go home. He was cute and sweet and he smelled so nice it made me want cuddle him all day.
   I saw Sammy waiting by the door talking to the nurse.  She saw me and smiled " hey you came"  " yeah ... can I go in ?"
" he's using the bathroom right now. I'll go check on him actually " he walked in.
  I listened to the nurse talking to him through the wall
" I'm going to put this in the bathroom. "
" uh okay.  Is my mom still here or is my brother back. "
" no she's here and theres a girl out there too. So she's why you're here fighting for your girl. Well I know she knows you love her.  "
" love her ?"    I heard the nurse chuckle " man your in the ICU for possible brain swelling and  8 broken bones. If that's not love I'm not sure what is.  Now I'll be back later to check your vitals and labs okay ? "    " okay "
We walked in when he came out.
He was sit up slightly. He looked horrible
Sammy smiled
" hi Rain any thing feel better "
" no" it was quiet and said with pain
I sat next to him in a chair.
" rain I'm sorry ". I started crying when he turned his head toward me.
" why? You didn't do anything wrong. " Sammy rubbed my back
He stuck his hand out. I took it
" we are meant to be .... I'd do anything ".

Stiles pov
Scott was flipping through a book looking for what could cause hormone in balance to make him so angry and aggressive.

" so what your saying is you think it's his pituitary that's throwing him off ?" Scott asks
" yes that but I thought wolves couldn't get cancer and that "
" well their human side can probably and it can just be a growth that can be easily removed "
I sat down " isn't it kind hard to get too ?"
Before he could answer deaton walked in " he'll be fine after he gets the tumor removed "
" tumor ?" We both ask
" yes and I told him this would end up happening or it could be hormonal imbalance which can be cause by stress and anxiety maybe "
" okay so we need to talk to Derek " I saygetting up.   Deaton looked at me " dangerous mission"
  " my son is in theICU and my wife wants Derek's head on a stick.  I have to calm the waters before she loses abest friend of this. " I say walking toward the door way
" plus Scott is my back up "
" backup ? I have to get Home and shit fine "

Rain pov - five days later
I was home finally and everyone was at work Rene was staying with me today. Derek didn't know which was fine with me.  I was healing great in couple days everything would be good again expect my leg.
  We were watching a movie right now and all I could think about was the kiss. I wanted to kiss her again.
" rain " I looked over at her " yeah ?"
" what are you thinking about your heart is pounding "
" you " she looked up at me quickly blushing.
" you know we can still go to prom together " she says smiling.
" y-you still " I stopped when she leaned over and whispered in my ear. " yes and I want you to be my first " she sat back and waited for my response.
" your first what ?" I ask
" to have sex with me "    I blushed
" we could just practice for it now and do the real thing after prom.  Your parents won't be home. "  
I nodded  I wasn't sure how you could practice for sex.  It would make me less nervous that's for sure. 

We went to my room she told me to take everything off expect my boxers. 
I laid back on my back.
She had taken her clothes off expect her bra and under wear. 
" I'll show mine and you show me yours and we could do some touching to relax you "
I nodded
I felt my heart pounding. 
She sat down on my lap.  I groan as she does
" are you ready ?" She asks taking my hands to her bra " take it off"

Zekes pov
I looked around the place. I smiled " all unpacked "
I texted Connor to tell him I was on my way to pick him up from work. I got the bags for dinner tonight at moms and dad's. 
   Once I picked up Connor started moving a lot in his seat
" hey what's wrong ".  He smiled like he knew he was in trouble " I have to pee "
" babe you were literally just in a building to go"
" I know " he whined pouting. 
I took his hand " just hold it till we get to the house "   He didn't argue so i guess he could

Right when I stopped to park the car he jumped out and ran to the house.

I got the bags and started walking in right when I walked in Connor ran into me yelling " I'm sorry I promise I didn't see anything "

I have him a questioning look

Rain walked out face red in only pants and Moments later Rene ran out with shorts and a tank top. Both their heads were wet

" you used a condom ? "

They both looked at each other and back to me with a nod.
