James's POV

I walk into my house and sit on my couch

"At least she likes you" Alex says, trying to lighten the mood

"Yeah, I guess" I say

Alex gets a text and pulls out his phone

"Oh shit! I gotta go. Family emergency" He rushes out of the door

Guess I'm alone then

Does she even like me though..?

I go up to my room, remembering that I have to edit and wanting to distract myself 

-A few hours later-

I hear my phone bing

Message: Jaiden ;D

I blush at the thought of Jaiden texting me

Wow James, wow.

I open the text:

Meet me in the park at 9:00 tomorrow

"ok"

I text back, wondering what this was about
