We couldn't call Patrick because he would know we had set him up. All we had to do was turn our phones on. He had trackers on them. I was in the hotel waiting. If it was me he wanted, it was me he was going to get. Lets hope this all worked out and he didn't end up killing me.
~Patrick
We were on our way. Dawn wouldn't live to regret eavesdropping on me. I knew they would give me a lead to them one way or another. I never though they would be in the deep country though.
Pulling up at the hotel, I sat quietly and watched. We did have time for night fall to get here and all we needed to do was watch.
"At 11:30, we go in and I'm the one who's doing the killing. Y'all just be there to catch her if she tries to get away." I told them.
"Yes sir." Hours passed by and I saw Dawn walk out of room 107 on the second floor. A smirk appeared on my face as I wrote the room number down. She went to a vending machine and got a can of soda and went back. Thinking about it, I'd have to make sure I got her out of there because Karina had to be in there if she was.
"Change of plans. We'll go in and I'll give an excuse to get Dawn out. Then I'll take her somewhere and kill her and come back saying Dawn ran away. You guys just make it look like a suicide." I told them.
"Alright." They nodded.
11:30 soon came and it was time. I walked up the steps with my men not far behind me. I knocked on the door to no answer. Were they sleeping?
"Who is it?" Dawn's voice come from inside the room.
"Its Patrick. Is Karina there?" I asked. "She called me to bring y'all some money." I said.
"Uh... no she's not here at the moment." She said.
She opened the door and we pushed out way end closing it behind us. Dawn sat on the bed looking terrified as we held up our guns.
"I know you were eavesdropping on me you snitch!" I yelled.
"I don't know what you're talking about." she said quickly. That pissed me off.
"Don't fucking lie. I have a witness that described you perfectly!"
"Well he could have been lying." She said.
"You're such a fucking liar Dawn. Rachel should have dropped you when she had the chance." I said.
"But she didn't. And Karina won't either. She knows everything. I already told her." Dawn said.
"You bitch!" I pulled the trigger 4 times and walked towards the door.
"Leave the gun. Make sure her finger prints are on it." I told them.
~Karina
"I just heard 3 shots. Did he kill her?" I asked Nika with tears in my eyes.
"Lets hope not. Now come on before they see us." Dhe grabbed my hand and we ran off into the night.
"What if she's dead?" I asked starting to tear up.
"Trust me. My instincts are tellin me she still alive. Don't worry." She smiled assuringly. We circled around the block for just enough time for them to drive off and just as we were pulling in, they were heading down the street.
"Come on. We jave to go help her." I cried pushing the door open and running to the stairs. I ran up them as fast as possible. I used my hotel key to push the door open and ran in.
"Dawn!" I yelled.
She laid there motionless on her side. I ran to her and shook her. Still nothing.
"Oh my god nooo!" I cried putting my hands on my face.
"Shit my stomach hurts." She said sitting up and opening her jacket. She had been shot three times in her bullet proof vest. "I think I passed out for a second. That shit hurts." She took the vest off and raised her shirt showing the large bruises she got from the gun.
"Oh shit." I sighed. I hugged her tighter than I've ever hugged anyone. "Lets get out of here. We won't have to worry about Patrick anymore." I smiled.
I grabbed her hand and we made our way out of the hotel room and to Nika's car. We threw our phones out the window and onto the pavement as she pulled out of the parkinglot.

Patrick and his crew sped doen the street unable to stop. Their breaks had been cut and they were heading towards the lake that way nearby.
"Stop the fucking car!" Patrick yelled.
He reached for the door unlocking it and opening it, but by that time, it was too late, the car had already driven into the lake and water instantly poured into it. Patricks head knocked against the window and water filled his lungs. He started trying to swim to the top while choking on thw water. This lake was known for its various alligators, but he didn't know that. One big one saw him struggling in the water and darted towards him. The last thing he saw was the open mouth of a crocodile.
