My mind whirled faster than a Kansas Twister as I slumped back in my chair and closed my eyes.

Amy Pond has returned.

"What." Dale gasped.

Gale grimaced.

"Is she... okay?" I asked slowly.

"If by okay you mean alive, then yes she is alive. In terms of injuries we aren't exactly sure how extensive they are. Being on your own for a month is a lot to go through for a girl her age." said Dale.

"Well, aren't we going to get her?" Dale demanded.

I gripped his arm in a warning.

Gale remained impassive.

"That's what we were discussing before you two arrived."

"Why all the controversy?" I asked.

This time Mom answered.

"We aren't sure if this is a Capitol trap or not. We could be walking into an ambush."

There was a silence after that. I considered the possibilities.

"Why don't we send in a fake person, or a dummy so to say, and we have that dummy to see if there is anyone who would be less than friendly to us." said Dad.

Mom looked surprised.

"That was actually a good idea Peeta." Mom said.

"It's been known to happen." Dad smiled.

"Any other ideas?" Gale asked with a hint of desperation in his voice.

No one moved.

"Alright," Dale said grudgingly "we need to organize a plan.

To be honest, I wasn't really listening to the plan. I was more focused on getting the real Amy Pond back. I was also thinking about Haymitch. The nurse said that he only felt this way about Amy because of the shock of losing her. Will a loveless relationship work?

"Let's go over our plan one last time." Gale said.

I immediately snapped out of my thoughts.

"The remote control hovercraft will come and use a metal grabber to get Amy. If we get attacked, then the hovercraft will have weapons to ward the attacker away. If not, then mission accomplished."

I nodded. That sounded like a good plan, except one thing.

"Can I go with the hovercraft?" I asked.

"Excuse me?" Gale asked.

"I would like to be there when we pick Amy up." I repeated.

"That's... insane." Dad said. "Primrose, you are too valuable to lose. You may not be the mockingjay, but you are a face of the rebellion."

"That's not fair to Amy!" I argued. "She will be alone and injured. If an unfamiliar face is there, how would she react?"

Dale looked like he was deep in thought.

"She has a point, you know."

"Well, Prim will not go." Dad said.

I opened my mouth to argue when Mom cut in.

"I'll go."

"No!" Dad and I said.

"Yes, I'm the Mockingjay and it is my duty to help people. Besides," Mom added with a smirk "We could make a propo out of it."

Gale smirked and Dad unsuccessfully tried to choke down a laugh.

"There is no use arguing with Katniss, so I guess we should get ready with the plan." Gale said.
