Chapter 3: My Rebirth Is Too Short-Lived

The first thing he has to do is to get off this island.

The damnable jerk actually showed him the completed renovation of the place before his death.

He remembered that he used to tell him how he would like to rest and grow old here but who would have thought that he would take him here straight to die?

He can't help the urge to spit and so he did.

Just after he did, he suddenly felt dumbfounded. "That actually felt good."

Why did he even put full effort on appearances before? What's the use of his gentlemanly acts?

Oh, he remembered!

it's actually self-preservation, isn't it?

He already looked like a beast, what more if he acted like one too? His OC and pretentious self would die earlier then.

He smirk with the newfound amusement. "Gestures like this are actually fine, aren't they? No wonder people always do that."

From now on, he would throw the acts. It's rebirth, anyway.

Unconsciously, his perfect posture actually relaxed. It seems as if the invisible lines in his view disappear giving him a newfound free and unrestrained but still with a bit of danger aura.

But If you carefully think about it, maybe it wasn't 'change'.

Gerald's Time seemed to stop 20 years ago. It stopped in his most "delicate" period. just before he would learn worldly things, form habits and maybe even vices.

it could just be his true self finally breaking free from it's chains.

As the sole heir of a powerful family and growing up with a loving mother who tried to protect him from everything and raise him to be the perfect gentleman, he never had the chance to try to deviate from the norm and was made to follow a smooth sailing path.

even after the kidnapping, because he still had his mother and the last straw, namely Rick the asshole snake, he didn't broke down but even continued much vigorously despite the stones that tripped him on the way.

although he had a debt he has to collect, he also had debt to pay.

A debt to his mother, who supported him and loved him all the way, to his father who he hasn't met but loved because of his mother's exaggerated tales and to Gerald, his foolish self.

As he swore to get revenge from his enemies, he also swore to live happily too. He won't foolishly spend this new life for revenge. If he did, what's his difference to the former him? Would he also live this life for other people?

As the thought flashed his mind, he scoffed. "As if."

He will live the way he want. He will do the things he want.

With everything still intact, he's now ready to use everything to his advantage. The world abandoned him because he lost this face? Then he will use this face and laugh after he make the world see what they missed out on.

With that, He started walking and roamed the beach. He wants to look for something to get off this island. If the initial design was used to complete this project, he's sure that there's a small yatch and jet skis here somewhere.

After walking for a short while, he finally saw what he was looking for.

"Oh!there it is!" He could help but cheer but he was stopped midway.

Between a yatch and a ski, is it easier to drive the jet ski? Is it the same with riding a bicycle?

Damn! Just right after his cool and gloomy episode, would he have to say that he doesn't even know how to drive both? He doesn't even know how to drive a car!

He embarrassingly held his forehead in his hand. What a ruthless turn-around. This is turning comedic, damn it..

What revenge? What living life to the limit?

He remembered that he doesn't even know how to get of this island!

He's clearly a talented guy with an IQ above 180! Why the fuck did he not even spent a little time to learn to drive?!

"Damn it all to hell. This is fucking embarrassing..." While looking at the sea that seems regretfully endless, he felt his hate to a particular maggot rise to a we-can't-live-in-the-same-sky state. "i swear i'll deal with you the hardest, Rick. I'll fucking kill you when i get back!!!"
