Ammu is Back ! [COMPLETED]

Judgement day

In the courtroom:

Bhallaladeva and Bijjaladeva are brought before the King and Queen. Bijjala is shocked to see Sivagami alive.

Bi: Aei Sivagami !!!!!! You aren't dead ??? You finally achieved it !!! You made that lowlife who killed his mother upon birth the King !!!! That throne he is sitting on belongs to my son !!!

Sivagami remains unaffected at his taunts instead looks pitifully at her son Bhalla.
Bijjaladeva shifts his gaze to Ammu-Devu,

Bi:You... you wretch !!! Along with that shrew you schemed and snatched what rightfully belongs to my son !!! Aaarrghhh thoooo !!!!

An infuriated Mahe draws his sword out of its sheath and rushes to strike Bijjala but is stopped by Ammu.

A: Mahendra !

M: Nanna, how dare he...

A: Mahendra I know. Go back to your place.

He obeys his father.Giving a death stare to Bijjala, Mahendra returns to his place.

Sivagami gets up from her seat, walks down the step and stands beside the culprits. Kattappa too follows suit.

A: Amma... Maama... why are you both standing there ?? Come over here...

Si: It all began with me Baahu. I was full of myself and the rash decisions I took ruined everyone's lives. I deserve to be punished. Even if it is death, I accept.

Ka: Baahu, you have taken the oath to rule justly. Don't forgive me just because I am your mama. Whatever punishment you give I will accept wholeheartedly.

After a moment of silence, Ammu speaks.

A: I won't punish anyone.

Except Bhalla and Bijjala, all look at Ammu with an expression of shock on their faces. Ministers and other noble men begin to discuss amongst themselves.

"Maharaja is not going to punish them ?? After all that they have done ??"

"What is going to happen ?? We have to endure these people for the rest of our lives ??"

Devasena looks at Ammu in question.

A: Silence ! I won't punish anyone. It was my Devasena who suffered the most hence it's only fair she deals this case.Whether she chooses to punish or forgive is left to her. Whatever judgement she gives shall be implemented without any partiality. This is my word.

Devu with tears filled in her eyes turns to Ammu who nods his head and slides his arm across her shoulder assuring that he'd always stay by her side.

M: Amma say amma !! Order me to chop their heads, I will do it and place it beneath your feet !!!

D: No Mahendra... calm down.

Devuu thinks for a moment. Getting up from her seat, she steps forward.

D: Before I pass the judgement,
I request the King to free Kattappa and his clan from slavery. There shouldn't be any slave in this kingdom hereafter.Every individual who toils hard for their bread and butter, should walk with their heads held high without any fear of being discriminated or disrespected.

Ammu smiles as Devu spoke what he felt.

A: So be it. Slavery will be abolished from Mahishmati this minute.

Kattappa and his clan rejoice. Devasena continues to speak.

D: Bijjaladeva not only brought darkness to my life but to Mahishmati so he will be thrown into a dark dungeon. He shall not see the light. Three meals will be served to him daily. He shall not be allowed to meet or talk with anyone. He shall live this way till his death. Whoever decides to help him will suffer the same fate as him.
