That night, Camila and Lauren both slept in the older girl's bunk after the show in Dallas. It was slightly cramped, but they didn't mind; their bodies intertwined and Camila's head resting on Lauren's chest, the green eyed girl's hand on the small of the petite Latina's back.

When the other girls had witnessed the younger brunette climbing into Lauren's bed, they giggled and cooed at the sight.

"They're actually so adorable," Normani sighed dramatically, and the other two nodded in agreement before retiring to bed themselves.

The next day was a day off for the girls, as they weren't doing anything until the evening. They had a show at 7pm but before that, the entire day could be spent exactly as they pleased.

Lauren had attempted to make plans for something to do with her girlfriend, but couldn't make up her mind. She wanted to impress Camila, and although she felt guilty for thinking that, it was true. In her head, she believed that the younger girl deserved better than her, and she wanted to prove that she was worthy of being Camila's girlfriend.

If the younger girl had known any of what was going through Lauren's mind, she would have shut it down instantly. But Lauren, despite continuously asking Camila to be open and honest with her, wasn't doing the same with the smaller Latina.

The night had been a peaceful one, with the two girls curled up together under the blankets. Although it had been very innocent, they hadn't been able to help themselves from stealing a kiss every now and then before they drifted into a content sleep.

But when they awoke in the morning, after lying tranquilly side by side for a few minutes, Camila felt her phone buzzing from the bundle of blankets next to her.

"What's that?" Lauren asked blearily, rubbing her eyes.

Frowning a little, Camila groped inside the tangle of covers before retrieving her vibrating phone.

"Hello?" she said questioningly, bringing the device up to her ear.

"Mija? Is that you?" Her mom's voice came out of the phone and the petite girl smiled at the sound. She missed her mom while she was on the road.

"Yeah, it's me. Are you okay?" asked Camila, suddenly concerned.

"I'm fine, but I just wanted to ask if you were alright."

The younger Latina furrowed her brow. "Why wouldn't I be alright?"

There was a short silence on the other end of the call. "Oh...I don't know," her mother said, but Camila was instantly aware of the change in her tone, "I was just checking on you to see if...well, it doesn't matter anymore. But, Mija?"

"Yeah?"

"I just want to tell you how proud we are of you. We want you to be happy; we always have and always will. If Lauren makes you happy, then we will gladly welcome her into the Cabello family, if that time comes. Do you...?" At this point her mom paused. There was a brief quiet before she continued in a lower voice. "Do you love her?"

Camila felt herself blushing, and she turned away from her girlfriend, who had laid back down when she heard that it was Sinu on the phone.
"I..." she hesitated, before saying in a small voice, "I think so."

"That's amazing, Camila," her mom encouraged. "You haven't told her yet have you?"

"No..." Camila said quietly, trying not to give away what she was talking about to the brunette lying next to her.
