Not once in his life did James Buchanan Barnes think that he'd have to ask Natasha a question about hair. He knew how to do a simple pony tail because he himself did it sometimes but that's the best he could do. Braiding from his time was rare. But, his daughters hair was long and curly and he barley knew how to contain his own. So when Natasha started showing how to make this intricate braid he was intrigued.
It even led to Nicola wanting to learn how to braid hair. So of course they used Bucky as a practice dummy. Steve watched and laughed as the two girls braided Bucky's hair which actually felt quite nice to him. But later that night when they were about to go to bed she asked,"Daddy when will I get to see mommy again?" He looked at her sadly. "I'm not sure." He presses a kiss to her forehead with his beard scratching her which she always claims that tickles, and puts the blanket over her small body. As he is about to lay down and shut the light off she asks, "Can I visit her?" He glances over to her and responds with, "Maybe florea mea mica." Then he shuts the lights off hoping to end the conversation.
