"Hey, Justin," I greeted him with a tired smile as I sat down to him during lunch, the day after the concert. I stifled a yawn, doing my best to keep my eyes open. I had somehow made it through half of my lessons already without falling asleep, concentrating as best as I could.

Justin didn't seem surprised by my pretty much half closed eyes, seeing as I was tired most of the time. It started to be a running joke, really. How long can Kellin stay awake in class? Place your bets now.

"I take it you had a good night?" He asked with interest clearly evident in his voice. No hint of jealousy because he couldn't go with me. He had to stay at home because it was his father's birthday, and unfortunately, a concert wasn't a good enough excuse to ditch the family dinner.

"It was amazing," I beamed. "Best first concert ever." Justin merely chuckled at that, looking back down to his plate.

"Are you hungry?" The food he just shoveled into his mouth made him a little hard to understand, causing me to suppress a small giggle.

"No, I'm good," I lied and shook my head, smiling somewhat convincingly at him.

"Bullshit." He rolled his eyes. "You know you can't lie to me."

I bit back my smile and shook my head at him in disbelieve.

"How the hell are you doing this?" I noticed the smirk which was forming on his face out of pride. It had become way too familiar over time.

"I've been your best friend for years, by now I can tell when you are lying to me. Besides-" He sighed and shoved his plate filled with noodles towards me-"knowing you, you probably gave your money to Kaily and Nick again." He simply shook his head with a smile as I confirmed his statement with a nod.

"Go get yourself a fork, we'll share."

"Have I told you that you are the best friend ever, recently?" I grinned at him before I got up, hearing him mumble 'I know' before I left the table. If there was one person who truly knew me, it was Justin. We had known each other since kindergarten and he had witnessed nearly everything in my life. So had I with his.

I got pulled out of my memories as I crushed into someone, immediately feeling a blush creep onto my face, my eyes wide.

"I'm so sorry are you ok-" I stopped myself as I saw who I had bumped into.

"It's fine, Kellin," he said with a smile, making me smile back at him shyly. "I see you are wearing the shirt." His smile grew even wider, causing me to fluster a little. Now, this up close and with proper lightning, I finally realized how attractive he truly was, which wasn't very helpful at this moment.

"Yeah, I- uhm, thanks again."

"No problem."

I wanted to walk past him after a few awkward seconds of silence but he made me turn around again. "Instead of walking into me, you could just say 'hi' next time. In history for example."

I scratched my neck, shifting my eyes to the floor. "I'll try my best, no promises though. See ya," I answered with a laugh, turning around to actually get the cutlery and, of course, to escape this encounter as fast as possible. I really needed to stop getting lost in my head that often.

I made my way back to Justin without any other collisions, but still not recovered from the embarrassment.

"Are you okay?"

I sat down with a puzzled expression, nodding at Justin's question.

"Are you sure?" A smirk crept onto his face. "You are blushing like crazy!" My eyes widened and I looked down, trying to hide my face. Was I seriously still that red? Justin crouched down a little, trying to meet my gaze. "Is it because of that Fuentes boy?"
