"You really didn't have to do the dishes, Kellin." Vic started again as we got back into his room. I rolled my eyes at him and let myself fall back down onto his couch, a tiny smile tugging at the corners of my lips. "As you already said about a thousand times." I shook my head at him and he sat down beside me. "It was the least I could do, really."

Neither Vivian nor Vic wanted me to and vehemently told me it wasn't necessary, especially since I was a guest, but I insisted on cleaning up after we finished eating. It was the only thing I could think of to express how grateful I was. It wasn't as big of a deal as Vic made it seem.

"But it rea-"

"Will you drop it, already?" I interrupted him with a laugh, causing him to cross his arms in front of his chest like a sulky child. He muttered a small 'fine' under his breath, causing me to shake my head in amusement.

I took the opportunity to really look at him and I caught myself smiling a little. He was just so damn handsome. From this stupid cap he was always wearing, to his eyes, his nose, his lips, his shoulders, his arms... God his arms. I couldn't help myself, my eyes simply didn't want to look away. Why did he have to cross his arms like that?

"Are you checking me out right now?"

My eyes went wide as I realized I got caught. I quickly shook my head and looked back up at him. "Am not!"

He started to grin. "You totally did."

I crossed my arms in front of my chest protectively, looking straight ahead. "I just got lost in thought, that's all." It was the best excuse that came to my mind at that moment but I regretted it so soon.

"Do I want to know what these thoughts were about?" I opened my mouth in shock and took a deep breath, the embarrassment getting worse and worse. "Don't get cocky, Fuentes." I muttered, trying so hard to convince him that I hadn't checked him out, when clearly I had and both of us knew.

"Just admit it, Kells." I could basically hear his grin and I hated that he was having fun with this.

"In your dreams."

"Oh, come on. Don't be like that. Just say it."

"No."

"Say it."

"No!"

"Say it!"

"N-" My head got thrown back a little and my vision went black for a second. Vic burst out in laughter and I looked down at the pillow that was now laying in my lap. I looked at him, my eyes wide. He was still laughing but tried to calm down.

"Do you really think this is funny? How old are you?"

Vic was pressing his lips together but the corners of his mouth were still lifted. "I think it's hilarious." I could tell he was about to laugh again, but before he got the chance to open his mouth I grabbed the pillow and threw it right back at him. This time I was the one to laugh at his startled expression. "You're right." I said in-between laughter. "It is hilarious."

Vic started to grin and grabbed the pillow again, starting to hit me lightly. I held up my arms in defense and saw another pillow at my side and quickly took it to hit back. I couldn't remember the last time I did something so stupid and had that much fun with it.

At one point Vic lunged forward, causing me to fall on my back, but he continued throwing the pillow at me. My stomach started to hurt due the laughing.

"Stop!" I managed to say, letting my pillow fall down to the ground and lifting my arms. "Stop, I surrender!"

"Yes!" Vic exclaimed, raising his hands in victory, throwing his head back, still laughing slightly. We remained like that for a few seconds, catching our breaths and all of a sudden I became awfully aware that he was currently straddling me. I felt my face getting hot but blamed the physical exercise of the pillow fight.
