Zayn's POV.
Fuck! I let my anger issues get the best of me again! I looked over at Jesse lying uncontious and bleeding from her head. I rushed over to her with tears streaming down my face. "It's gonna be okay baby, I'm gonna call an ambulance" I said through sobs. I quickly pulled out my phone and dialled 999. While I was waiting for the ambulance I picked Jesse up off the floor and put her on the couch. All of a sudden I heard little feet and Emma came running down the stairs.
"Hey daddy" she said running over and hugging my leg. I picked her up and put her on my hip.
"Hey baby"
"Daddy what's wrong with mommy? she's bleeding, does she need a bandaid?"
"No sweetie, I don't think a bandaid will help. Mommy just fell and hurt herself, Some people are going to come and take her to the hospital, okay?"
"Is she going to be okay?"
"Yes baby, mommy is going to be just fine" Emma jumped a little when she heard the sirens from the ambulance, as they got closer she covered her ears from the noise. The paramedics came running in with a stretcher to get Emma. I showed them where she was and carefully put her on the stretcher and put her in the ambulance. They told me which hospital to meet them at and took off with their sirens wailing.
I took Emma out to the car and buckled her into her car seat and we headed to the hospital. When we got there Jesse was already in a room being treated. I was told by the lady at the front desk that me and Emma needed to wait in the waiting room and that a nurse would come get us when she was ready. Me and Emma when to the waiting room and sat patiently while the nurses worked on Jesse.
After 30 minutes of waiting I decided this might take a while and Emma didn't need to spend her night at the hospital. I called Liam to see if he would come watch her and since Liam loved kids he was more than happy to watch her. I thanked him and got off the phone. I explained to Emma that she would be staying with her Uncle Liam for the night until mommy got better. She simply nodded and laid down in my lap. Liam got there after about 15 minutes and he had Niall with him.
"Hey buddy how are you holding up" Niall said placing a hand on my shoulder for reasurance.
"Not good man, this is all my fault" I said putting my head in my hands.
"Well it's getting late so I'm going to go ahead and take Emma back to my flat" Liam said picking Emma up.
"Okay man, thanks again for watching her."
"No problem. Come on Niall lets go" Liam said softly trying not to wake up Emma who was asleep in his arms.
"Actually I think I'm gonna stay here with Zayn, He shouldn't wait in this waiting room all by his self"
"Alrighty, I'll see you two tomorrow"
We both said bye and Liam walked out with Emma. We sat there in silence until a nurse finally came out to talk to us. "She is going to be fine, she's still sleeping but she not in a comma or anything. We have her hooked up to an IV and she has 5 stiches in her head where the coffee table cut her open. You guys can go back if you would like, she is in room 15" she said with a smile on her face. Me and Niall both just nodded and headed back to Jesse's room.
Jesse's Pov
I woke up in a hospital room, the events from earlier flooding back to me. I remembered me and Zayn getting into a fight and him pushing me, then falling into the coffee table. I must have blacked out. I had an IV in my arm and a pounding head ache. I reached up to feel my head and found 5 tiny stiches. I must had busted my head open. I head my door open and turned to see Zayn and Niall. I wasn't sure how to feel about Zayn right now. But Niall did nothing wrong so I decided to say hi.
"Hey Niall nice to see you"
"Hello, how are you feeling?" He asked kind of awkwardly
"Oh well you know, I've been better" I said with a smile. All of a sudden Zayn jumped in.
"Jesse I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen. I just got so angry and I let it get the best of me. I promise I won't ever let it happen again. Just please don't leave me!"
"Zayn. I-I love you!"
"I love you too"
"But, I need some time to think. You really hurt me. Of all people that would hurt me I never thought it would be you"
"I understand"
"Where is Emma?"
"She's with Liam right now"
"Okay" I'm going to stay with Harry for a few days"
"Really?! You are going to stay with Harry?! Isn't that what started this?!"
"Zayn chill out we are just friends!"
"Yeah I'm sure!" is all he said before storming out. Oh no here we go again.
