Spock picked up another gun and primed it as he pointed it at Harrison.

Jim was quiet and still for a moment before he staggered to a stand.

He then took a few steps towards Harrison as he spoke, "On behalf of Christopher Pike, my friend, I accept your surrender."

Jim then turned away from Harrison for a moment before he swiftly turned back around, punching Harrison square in the face. He then continued to unleash a barrage of punches, kicks, and knee hits onto Harrison, letting out all his anger and frustrations.

"Captain!" Uhura then yelled, attempting to get Jim to stop.

Jim gave Harrison a few more hits before he started to heave for breath.

"Captain," Harrison said in an almost teasing manner as Jim stood back upright.

Jim gave a heavy glare to Harrison before turning around once again to face Spock.

"Cuff him," Jim said simply as he started to walk back towards the shuttle.

Once they had arrived back to the Enterprise, the away team was greeted by three more security officers. Those three, along with the two whom had been part of the away team, then began to escort Harrison to the prison hold aboard the ship.

"We have Harrison and are taking him to the brig," Jim told the bridge.

"Aye, Captain," Sulu acknowledged.

"Sala, I need you to meet me in the brig with Bones."

"Yes, Captain," Sala said before getting up from her seat.

Sala then left the bridge to retrieve McCoy. It was procedure that, if there is a Cultural Officer present on a Federation ship, said officer must be present whenever those in Federation custody are being interacted with, unless there are three or more security officers present.

"Doctor McCoy," Sala said, entering the Medical Bay.

"Yeah, I know. Jim already paged me," McCoy said as he grabbed a syringe and made his way towards Sala.

The two officers then made their way from there to the brig.

On there way there, they encountered Jim and Spock, who were once against dressed in duty uniforms.

"So, what happened?" McCoy asked.

"We got found out by a random patrol. When they made a move to attack Uhura, he started firing all out against them. Once he took care of the Klingons, Harrison started asking about the torpedoes. When Spock told him how many there were, he just, surrendered," Jim recanted.

"Why the hell did he surrender?"

"I don't know. But he just took out a squad of Klingons single-handedly. I want to know how."

"Sounds like we have a superman on board."

"You tell me."

The group of four then approached Harrison who was in his cell.

McCoy was the first to reach the clear wall of the cell. He moved a small tool that was on the side, opening it so that an arm could fit through.

"Put your arm through the hole," McCoy said as he took the syringe out of his pocket, "I'm gonna take a blood sample."

Harrison walked from the back of the cell towards the front, rolling his sleeve up as he did. He then stuck his arm through the opening. His hand was in a fist, then relaxed before McCoy lightly grabbed the arm and placed the syringe to the skin.

"Why aren't we moving, Captain?" Harrison asked in a low-toned voice.

No one answered him.

"An unexpected malfunction, perhaps in your warp core, conveniently stranding you on the edge of Klingon space?" Harrison asked.

"How the hell do you know that?" McCoy asked.

"Bones," Jim warned.

"I think you'd find my insight valuable, Captain," Harrison said in a level voice.

Having completed taking a sample, McCoy cast the small device on the clear wall of the cell to the side, closing it as it moved.

"We good?" McCoy asked, turning to face Jim.

"Yes. Let me know what you find," Jim said before the four officers then started to leave the brig.

"Ignore me and you will get everyone on this ship killed," Harrison said, almost as a warning.

This caused Jim to stop walking.

Both Spock and Sala turned to face Jim, throwing sideways glances at Harrison.

"Captain, I believe that he will only try to manipulate you," Spock said, voicing this thoughts.

"I concur. What he just did is a prime example of using theoretical guilt to attempt to turn your hand to listen to him," Sala noted.

"I would not recommend engaging the prisoner further."

"Give me a minute," Jim said simply.

Spock was quiet for a moment before he moved to leave, likely to return to the bridge.

"As per regulation, I must be present during all interactions with someone in Federation custody, unless there are three or more security officers present; there are only two here. I will, however, not interrupt you if that is what you wish, so long as you do not attempt to inflict physical harm on Harrison," Sala said.

Jim gave Sala a small nod before he turned around to face Harrison, walking towards the cell again.

"Let me explain what's happening here," Jim said in an authoritative voice, "You are a criminal. I watched you murder innocent men and women. I was authorized to end you! And the only reason you are still alive is because I am allowing it. So shut your mouth."

"Oh, Captain, are you going to punch me again over and over until your arm weakens?" Harrison asked, "Clearly you want to, so tell me, why did you allow me to live?"

This comment caused Sala to take a few steps forward towards Harrison's cell and Jim.

"We all make mistakes," Jim said simply.

"No. I surrendered to you because, despite your attempts to convince me otherwise, you seem to have a conscience, Mister Kirk," Harrison said with an air of a chuckle, "If you do not, then it would be impossible for me to convince you of the truth. Two-three. One-seven. Four-six. One-one. Coordinates not far from Earth. If you want to know why I did what I did, go and take a look."

"Give me one reason why I should listen to you."

"I can give you seventy-two. And they're on board your ship, Captain. They have been, all along. I suggest, you open one up."

Jim was quiet for a moment before he turned from the cell and started to walk towards Sala again.

The two officers then left the brig.

"I suspect that he is speaking of the torpedoes, as those are the only new addition to the ship which is exactly seventy-two in count," Sala concluded.

"Yeah? Well, now the hell what?" Jim asked in a quiet voice.
