''What's love?''

Neil begins to wonder about the concept of true love as he gets ready for the first day of the new semester.

''Love is when thinking about that one person always brings a smile to your face'' Shewta would say whenever Neil would ask his mother this question

Growing up Neil has always been a firm believer in Love yet always fails to understand the concept of True love. ''What's the difference between your first love and true love?'' He wonders .

''Does thinking about Juhi brings a smile in my face?'' He asks himself . As his thoughts begin to wonder about Juhi a heavy weight begins to settle in his heart. The same weight he had felt when Neil had accepted Juhi's proposal. Yes Juhi had proposed him first. He was indeed very lucky to be proposed by the girl he had been in secretly love with since childhood. Yes, Juhi and Neil were childhood friends turned lovers. Juhi is the granddaughter of Bebe's(grandmother of Neil) best friend which is why Juhi would always visti Neil in his house when they were young hence brewing the beginning of their friendship. They studied in the same school and Neil had loved her since.

''Then why did it feel so wrong when I had accepted her proposal?'' he asks himself.

He sighs a breath of frustration. This has become his daily routine . Waking up in the morning and start to dwell upon Juhi's and his relationship. Lately, he has been having doubts about his feelings. '' Do I really love her or is it just an attraction?'' He thinks.

'' You can fall in love a thousands times but you fall in true love only once. And after that all sorts of doubts and questions vanish from ur mind when u are with her and always want to be with her'' Shewta had said to Neil once. Shewta was Neil's all time love guru. Being a childhood lover of Prakash herself she is always the one Neil goes to solve his love queries.

His thoughts slowly drifts to his dreams that he had last night and a smile crepes upon his face. His dream! The same dream he has been having since the beginning of his college years. Yes, not only girls get dreams about their Prince Charming. The great Neil Khanna also gets dreams about his Princess. But unfortunately her face isn't visible to him. Earlier he used to think the face was of Juhi but recently he has been having second thoughts.

''Yaar tujhe college jana ha yah apna sapno ki rani ka bare meh sochta rehna han Nalayak!'' he playfully rebukes himself.

He gives one last look to his appearance . He adjusts his denim jacket that he has worn over a grey T-shirt and blue ripped jeans. Light stubble adorns his face . He always wanted to grow a beard but they are very stubborn to come. ''But you look quite handsome with this light beard Mr.Neil'' he says to himself .

'' tera fhirsa shuru hogya apna khud ka upoar dora dal nah. Mitali sahi khahti ha tu khud sahi shaddhi karle'' Neil scolds himself.

''Agr tuh khud ka shath shadi karaga toh Juhi ka kya hoga?'' Shewta says as she enters his room. ''Lekin agr tu nahi shadi kare toh aschai hoga. Mughe toh yo lardki ek akh nahi bhati'' She says and a scowl settles on her face. Shewta has never been fond of Juhi. According to her the girl seemed a goody two shoes, always with a stupid grin plastered on her bitchy face. Even Prakash ( Neil's father) supports his wife's theory. ''Pata nahi kya jadu karka rakha ha Bebe ka upar.''She says to him. Juhi has always been Bebe's favourite. It's like she had already accepted Juhi as the daughter- in-law of her family since Juhi was a kid. The main reason Bebe likes Juhi so much is because of her beauty . Yes Juhi is heavenly beautiful with waist long hair and fair complexion which has won Bebe's heart. Which is why Bebe fails to see through Juhi's fake facade of being a goody two shoes.

'' Ma ap phir shuru ho gayi'' Neil says to his mother.

''Sorry beta but I have to say tum dono dadi aur pota andha ho chukha ho us Juhi ka shundarta ka samne. Well Neil remember my words son, love is a very pure feeling. It doesn't sees one's appearance but the person's heart. When you fall in true love with someone, u fall in love with the person's heart not looks. Kher tera dil, tuh jane. Come down for breakfast soon'' Shewta says while patting his forehead and goes downstairs leaving a confused Neil behind.

'' Bas ajka confushion ka quota bhar chuka ha. Ab soch na band kar and leave for college '' Neil says to himself and goes downstairs to have breakfast totally unaware about the day's events that will cause his confusion to reach the infinity level.
