Destiny Of Avni And Neil

Dreams

The yellow ball of fire changed to hues of orange and tangerine. It merged with the sky like splatters of orange paint. The clouds were doting the colours as they coalesced with the sun and reflected the illuminating tints of red and orange over the lake.

The lake was glimmering in the callow lights of the sunset. It seemed like a quilt of tranquility had scattered over the atmosphere giving a sense of calmness and mellow.

The bridge over the lake had an endearing built. And on the bridge stood a feminine figure.

The person's figure was embraced with the evening fog but he could make out the silhouette.

As he neared the person , the sun emanated it's rays over her.

As he got nearer he could feel his heart racing. His knees became jiggly. There was a sense of urgency in him , he just wanted to get a glimpse of her.

Adrenaline coursed through his veins , the cold air bit into his lungs. He felt his whole body working, his leg muscles running warm. Fresh air entered his lungs and blood flowed through his muscles as he increased his speed and lurched forward.

He stopped as he came to an halt just a feet away from the person.

''Beautiful '' his heart screamed as it's voice echoed through his whole body.

The girl was wearing a white ball gown , looking like an absolute angel.

Midnight black hair flowed over her shoulders as the winds kept playing with them. He skin was impeccable,glowing with the hues of the sunset. Her face was angelic, looking benevolent and charming.

Her eyelashes were velvety, a dainty nose and pouty pink lips as soft as rose petals.

And her eyes, they were enticing. Onyx black eyes stared at him with utter concentration, speaking a thousand words . Her eyes were strikingly familiar and bewitching, beckoning him towards her with an unexplained force.

''Avni'' his heart screamed as he begin to register her familiar face.

Her face adorned a wide, genuine smile as sue heard her name through his lips.

She extended her hand towards him, aching for his touch.

She then suddenly looked at him with teary eyes and spoke in a strained voice ,''Help me Neil'' .

Abruptly as she finished speaking, a pair of claws held her by her waist and dragged her into the lake.

''No!'' Neil screamed as he bolted upright in his bed.

His heart pounded loudly against his chest and beads of sweat trickled down his forehead.

He closed his eyes and tried desperately to calm his breath and aching heart.

''What was that all about'' Neil wondered loudly.

His dream.... He had been having this same dream since many years now but this one was different. He would see a girl standing on a bridge over a lake. But this time this girl had a face , the face of Avni. And the ending of his dream was daunting and baffling.

His head was jumbled with numerous thoughts.

''This had to mean something '' he thought.

''It's just a dream'' Neil chided himself. But he was getting this unsettling feeling inside himself.

''Why did she ask for help?'' He wondered.

He laid down on his bead and closed his eyes. All the unsolved questions and disturbing thoughts lingered in his mind.

He didn't even get an ounce of sleep after that that. And all through the night he just kept wondering one thing

''Is she the one?''

So I tried a new writing style today. Please tell me how was it?
This is just a piece of my imagination that i wrote while i was getting bored in a wedding fuctiion. I wrote just because i was feeling bored and at the same time inspired. I know i had said that the next chapter would be about Avni but I had to update about The Princess of Neil's dream.
