''Why did I tell him?'', Avni wonders as she stares at the moon from the window in her room.
This day was beyond tiring for her and she just wanted to sleep it off but unfortunately not even an ounce of sleep was coming to her.
She was frustrated, at everything. She was frustrated at Juhi , for being such an obnoxious bitch. She was frustrated at Mitali and Ayush for being so friendly and cordial towards her. She was frustrated at Neil , for being ever so charming yet so impish. And more than anything she was frustrated on herself for her behaviour. She had actually managed to perplex herself with her own behaviour. Her own change of behaviour around Neil had astounded her. The girl who had never even talked to a stranger had taken a lift from a boy she had just met. Oh, and to add the cherry on top she had just told him her favourite colour!
But why? This question had been bugging her like an irritating song that you hate but just can't help yourself from thinking about it and playing it on loop in your head.
''It's just a colour '' she thought but in the inside she knew that the matter wasn't that simple.
No one knows about her favourite colour or anything for that matter. She had stopped sharing any information or any small details about her to anyone a long time ago. She liked to be secretive , hiding all her emotions and feelings from everyone and from herself too.
''Then why Neil?'' She asked herself.
''Oh Neil'' she exhales a breath and starts reminiscing the day's events that revolved around him.
''That boy sure is something '' She thinks and a small smile crepes on her face as his flirty comebacks registers on her mind.
''He's cute'' she thinks and her smile widens as she thinks of his carefree smile and glinting eyes.
Avni was happily reminiscing her sweet memories with a smile on her face , completely oblivious that another soul was gazing at her with happy tears brimming in her eyes.
Ayesha..
Ayesha was looking at her daughter with utmost love and awe. Why you ask? Because Avni Mehta , her daughter who had detached herself from any emotions was smiling. And that smile on her face wasn't reluctant or forced, it was genuine!
Ayesha had longed since years to see her daughter's genuine smile, she had forgotten how Avni looked with a sincere smile on her face.
''She looks beautiful and happy!'' Ayesha thinks to herself as her own smile widens at this thought.
''There has to be a reason '' she thinks and she desperately wanted to find out the reason behind why her estranged daughter was smiling again and experiencing feelings of happiness.
But before anything she quickly took out her phone and clicked a picture of the rare yet so magnificent sight in front of her. She quickly sent to picture to Neela. Ayesha wanted to share this joyous news to everyone and especially to those who are always worried sick about Avni. Ayesha then left to tell Ashish about this but not before staring at her beloved daughter for an another minute.
Neela who was just about to call Avni to ask about her day saw the message and instantly the widest smile adorned her face.
''I knew it!'' She exclaims loudly causing the bystanders to look at her weirdly. She shoots them an apologetic look amd does a mental happy dance. And why not?
Her Avni was smiling.
''I was getting this intuition that something good will be happening today. I had this feeling that Avni will be setting her foot in a new phase today and I was right!'' She thought. She never felt such joy at being right on anything than she was being now. Her happiness knew no boundaries.
