Chapter 4: Operation Preparation

*Knock Knock*
You hear a knock at the door of your room. You don't want to get out of bed but you force yourself to get up and open the door, you see Monika with her mission gear on and holding her helmet. "Wake up y/n you sleepy head we got our first mission!" She said cheerfully you look at her confused "our first what? We just got here 2 days ago!" You said rubbing your eyes. She smiled and continued to speak "We have to leave in an hour so you might want to get ready quick." She said walking off waving back at you. You closed your door and got your mission gear on you walk out of your room down the hall to the armory to get your weapons. You look around and see Glaz and some other talking and checking their guns you look around and spot a rack with you name above it. "I guess that's mine" you said to yourself you approach the rack and look to see the gun you were given during training with the GIGN. The 417 marksman rifle is your primary rifle and the LFP586 revolver is your secondary since you like the power. You pick up your 2 flashbacks and 3 breachcharge rolling them up and putting them in your backpack. "Ok...let's do this" you whispered exiting the armory waving to Glaz and the others you begin walking towards the helipad
- 45 minutes later-
You wait at the helipad for the helicopter to pick you,Monika and Emmanuelle up. After a few moments of waiting they both arrived talking along the way, they notice you and run over to greet you "you think you ready for this y/n these missions can get intense" Emmanuelle said with a worried look on her face. You look over to Monika and she has the same worried look you feel your insides melt from the adorable look on their face your face you couldn't do anything but nod your head yes. "Y/n promise me you'll listen to us and stay safe" Monika said squeezing your arm tight. You nod quickly wanting her to let her surprisingly strong grip loose
She smiled and the helicopter arrives almost blowing all of you back from all the wind. You make a deep breath and step into the helicopter after Monika and Emmanuelle board you look at them both and smile they smile back and laugh a little. The plane slowly raises up and flies off towards the mission site.
