Chapter 5: Sharpshooter Part 1

The keep yourself from dozing off on the helicopter while Emmanuelle and Monika talked during the ride. A voice came over the headsets embedded in everyone's helmets. "Ready for your first mission" Six said over the headset channel "You are having a area secure mission in the Hereford base that has currently been taken over by the white mask clear out the building and capture any enemies if given the opportunity" She continued giving us a chance to respond. We all replied with a "yes" and she gave us a goodbye and left the channel. We all looked at each other reassuring ourselves with smiles. The plane landed and the pilot gave us the signal to go when ready. "You ready y/n this is gonna get heated" Monika said setting down a drone after hopping out of the helicopter. You and Emmanuelle do the same except she puts down her shock drone instead of a regular drone. "Real fancy huh" you said trying to compliment her she replied with a grin and continued to pilot the drone into the building while  Monika's drone follows. You check the second floor room by room hearing footsteps but can't find where they are coming from. "Hey y/n Monika I found them basement!" Emmanuelle said shooting out the cameras from the entrance to the basement. You hid my drone somewhere it can be picked  up later and waited for them to get ready to push. After a few moments they put away their phones and Monika gave the que to head towards the building.
"I hope one of you has a plan for this" you said worried about the outcome of your first mission. "Yea I'm going to put a breach charge on the wood wall next to the basement and then we go through the first floor and when we make it to the stairs leading to the basement we can use it as a distraction to get up close and take care of them." Monika said surprising me while Emmanuelle agreed. "Damn...okay I'm cool with that" you  said nodding you and Emmanuelle go towards the front door and listen for footsteps you heard breathing and footsteps along the front door and hallway and try to estimate how many are there. "I say there is about 4 or 5 in the first floor" you said making Emmanuelle think "they are all probably in the hallway facing this door so we should go on seperate sides and breach the windows" she said pointing to each one. You nod and head to the one on the left and she went to the other "okay I got the breach charge set I'm coming back up" Monika said "maybe you could stay there and when we get into the staircase to the basement then blow it whole throwing shots at them letting them at least think something is there" Emmanuelle responded quickly making Monika think the plan out a little bit more. "Yeah your right that could work" Monika said a little embarrassed she stayed at her position and Emmanuelle placed her breach charge the same time as you did and you both backed up and counted down " ok 3...2...1 GO!" Emmanuelle yelled
