Chapter 10: Back To Work

-Time Skip-

I was sitting in my room thinking about what I did making me smile "you did well  y/n" you said to yourself after reliving the moment in your imagination. You lie down in your bed for a few moments enjoying being in out of that hospital bed until your moment is ruined by Eliza aka Ash bursting into through your door and hopping on top of you.  "Y/n Y/n Y/n" Eliza said getting close to your face she stared into your eyes making you uncomfortable "uhh... What do you need" she leans back still sitting on your lap " so you and Emmanuel are going out now hmm?" She asked giving you a smile.  You started to sweat a little bit since she knows your secret, she leans in close to you again "we have thin walls Y/n~" Eliza said with a seductive tone.  You start to blush as she gets a little closer to your face then she jumps off of you to the floor in one sudden move "well six wants to see you to talk about your condition and going out on missions again so get to it" She said waving to you as she closes the door leaving you to your thoughts. You wait a second to catch your breath then leave the room to head towards six's office and knock on the door "come in" she said with a serious voice. You walked into a pretty dark room with lights only in the corners but the lights spread covering most  of the room, you look around to see six sitting at her staring directly into your eyes and looking over to a seat gesturing you to sit down you do was she want."Eliza said you needed me for something" "yes I did you seem to be feeling well since I saw you walking around the base and...To someone else's room" she says with a smirk on her face making you blush and look down "i-its u-uhh" you stopped trying to explain yourself while six chuckles a little bit "its fine y/n" she said after a few moments of silence six speaks again "So since you seems like you have recovered from the misadventure you had on your first mission which is a good thing so I'm thinking of sending you back onto a mission with your team in a few days" she said with a serious face you started to get nervous as her stare intensifies making you sweat "thank you so much I can't wait to start again" you said a little bit excited "I will talk to your team personally a day before the mission starts you are dismissed" she said moving her hand in a brushing motion towards the door which you didn't hesitate to wait and walked out. When you reached the door and exited you closed it quickly and leaned against it breathing heavily and walking back to your room. You smiled atdreamimage of you back in the field fighting beside Monika and Emmanuel but then the image of them getting shot from your nightmares closes in and haunts you making you nervous again. "Damn it I can't let this happen to them even if it is just a dream" you said clenching your fist you reach your room and  lay down in your bed and drift off to sleep.
