Chapter two

I cant have been out for too long because when I finally came conscious I could hear the nurses gentle voice and Mr. Ways slightly stern grumble. Ryan was still there which settled me, I could hear his input every now and then.

The pain in my face still hurt like shit, my cheek was numb and my hand ached. I blinked slightly and of course the first thing i see is Mr. Ways obnoxiously bright red hair. I cough and splutter, the pressure hurting my ribs.

"Frank!" Ryan smiles and holds my arm "are you okay?"

I look up at him and wince, I glance around and see the nurses soft smile and Mr. Ways stern but slightly concerned stare. But I wasn't laid on the floor, I was in the nurses office somehow. "fuck..." i mumble.

I had passed out, of course. I felt so fucking stupid. It must have been in front of at least half the school and now its going to be going around the whole school.

I groaned and shuffled to rest on my elbows "I passed out" I mumble and cringe at the pain that shot through my jaw.

"Can you tell me what hurts, Frank?" The nurse smiles as she kneels down next to me.

"My fucking face" I grumble miserably.

Mr. Way made a disappointed hum of some sort and I shot him a curious look "did you pull him off me?"

Mr. Way nods and tucks a strand of his gorgeous red hair behind his ear "yes, he had you pinned."

I scowl slightly "I was fine- I had him!" I defended, looking at Ryan's confused expression.

"Who had you pinned?" He raised an eyebrow.

I sigh and roll my eyes "Mick, but he didnt have me pinned- ow fuck" I snap and rub my sore jaw, "I was fine before Mr. Hero over here-"

"Mick!?" Ryan snapped with a scowl "what happened?"

I roll my eyes and shrug "he was teasing me so I tackled him."

"Are you stupid?"

"He punched me first!" I defended weakly.

"You must have said something to him for him to punch you" Mr. Way says and crosses his arm. I glare at him and look back at Ryan.

"Well...what did you say?"

I groaned and rubbed my jaw "told him to suck a dick"

"My point is proven" my teacher smirks smugly.

I roll my eyes at him and scowl "dick" I mutter.

"Ya know, you could thank me?" Mr. Way raises his eyebrows expectantly and I scoff.

"Or I could not."

"I saved your ass."

"Did I ask you to?"

He stays silent and looks away, defeated. Frank 1 - Mr. Way 0.

"So, you told Mick to suck a dick and didn't expect it to end up like this?" Ryan questioned as if he was my mother, I nod and sigh.

"Well...yeah."

I glanced at Mr. Way and saw him awkwardly disappear out the door and then i looked at Ryan who had the smuggest smirk slapped on his face "What?" I question.

Ryan shrugged and glanced for the nurse, when he didn't see her he look back at me "That's the guy you wolf whistled this morning"

"I know" I say, rolling my eyes.
