The next day Drake helped his mother in the kitchen to make dinner.
sandi: tell me something about this girl named nicki
Drake: there is nothing between me and her.
Sandi: but it seems like that there is something
she looked at him and smirked.
Drake: we're just friends. nothing more.
he said and looked nervously at the ground
Sandi: you are good friends with her, aren't you ?
Drake: yes I am, but I don't have feelings for her
Sandi: I think that she likes you
Drake: you think ?
Sandi: Yes. and believe me she is way better than Zoey. I mean she broke your heart and I know that nicki never would to this she is a good girl. you should spend more time with her
Drake: Maybe
Sandi: yes or no, no maybe
Drake: Okay I will spend more time with her
Sandi: Good and now help me to finish this dinner
she laughed and continued to make dinner

It was now 7 pm and Drake was waiting for nicki to come out. Drake wanted to go to a park and he decided to go with nicki. Of course she said yes, and now he was waiting for her. Finally, she came out.
Nicki: I'm sorry that I'm late
Drake: It's okay. we should go now
Nicki: yea you right
They went into the car and made their way to the park. When they came out of the car they saw that they were alone and nobody was there.
Drake: It seems like we're alone
He sat down on the grass and nicki sat beside him.
Drake: Do you want something to eat ?
Nicki nodded and he gave her a sandwich.
Nicki: This is one of the best sandwiches I've ever eat
She said looking like she's going to fall in love with the sandwich.
Drake: I'm glad that you like it
He said and laughed.
Nicki: Did you do this?
Drake: yes
Nicki: wow, i didn't know that you can do something like that
Drake: you don't know everything about me
nicki finished the sandwich and drunk a glass of water. She looked at him and he smiled. nicki smiled back and she got closer. He knew what was coming next; she wants to kiss him.
Drake: nicki ... we shouldn't do this
She looked with hurt in her eyes.
Nicki: yes you right, I'm sorry.
nicki was about to cry; I'm so stupid she thought to herself. The tears made their way down and drake saw that nicki was crying
Drake: you don't need to cry nicki it isn't your fault
He hugged her and she cried on his chest
Drake: It was my fault that I didn't kiss you but I'm not ready for something new, maybe with time I will fall in love with you but I'm not ready for this.
Nicki stopped to cry and couldn't believe what drake said. She stood up and without looking at drake she run away
Drake: Nicki where are you going ?!
he shouted but she didn't answer.
What did I do ? he thought and began walking to his car.

Drake was now home and his mother knew that's something wrong with him.
Sandi: are you okay aubrey ?
Drake: No
Sandi: what happend?
Drake: Me and Nicki were at the park, she was eating a sandwich and I was laughing at her then she was getting closer and tried to kiss me but I said I can't kiss her because I'm not ready for this. And then she stand up and run away. It's all my fault.
Sandi: you should give her a little bit time.
Drake: You right ma, I should give her a little bit time for herself. I didn't want to break her heart.
Sandi: She's just angry at you but she still likes you
Drake: I hope so
She gave him a kiss on the cheek and went downstairs.

Nicki was home in her room, her mother was worried about her because she cried all night. Carol went to her room and opened the door. Nicki was lying on her bed.
MamaC: Nika baby, are you okay ? whats wrong ?
Nicki: I'm so stupid
MamaC: what happend ?
She told everything her mother.
MamaC: Oh baby don't worry, Drake is not angry or mad at you
Nicki: But I tried to kiss him
MamaC: Something like that can happen but everything's gonna be alright. you need some time alone, you should sleep now
Nicki nodded and went to sleep.
Carol looked at her daugher and then closed the door.
