Ah, yes, time. Oh how it was ticking down to the day of the sports festival. A single week was standing between me and competing. It also wasn't much time to hone in my quirk more. An overwhelming sense of pressure weighed me down, almost like it was holding me down to the bed.

I couldn't find the will to move. My body was exhausted from the vigorous training and my mind worn from school. I glanced at the time; extremely late. I groaned and rolled over, pulling the blankets over my head. 'I'll just skip...'

-

I stretched out my heavy body and rolled out of bed. A shiver ran up my spine as my feet hit the cold floor. My whole body felt like lead and mind like mush. Giving up, I laid back down, not feeling like venturing through the empty house. The warmth of my blankets invited me back in as I pulled them over my head, ignoring the world and all of my responsibilities.

"Are you listening to me?" Kirishima looked at me questioningly. "What?" I didn't hear a word. He just laughed. "I said I think you scared (L/n) off." He was obviously joking, but it isn't like I care either way. "Yeah, whatever." I pushed my food around, it just wasn't appealing.

"Maybe you were too hard on him." I glared lightly at him. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" He shrugged and got up. I followed suit as the bell rang, shoving my hands in my pockets as we walked back to class.

-

The final bell dismissed us. As I was about to walk out, Aizawa stopped me. "Bakugou, will you take these to (L/n)? You live the closest to him." I raised an eyebrow in distaste. "Why the hell do I have to take work to that waste of space?"

"If you would actually listen when your superiors talk you wouldn't have to ask that."

I groaned as I took the papers.

(Your POV)

I walked around the small house tending to the multitude of plants I kept. Having something depending one me was nice at times. 'Although, I guess I depend on them just as much, considering my quirk is quite dependent on them....' I thought to myself.

Something grabbed my attention.

Impatient knocking rang through the silent house. I groaned internally. 'Why is someone beating down my door.' I thought as I looked through the peep hole. 'Shit...'

A very angry Bakugou was distorted by the glass. I panicked a little bit. "Hey shithead, open up. I have your makeup work." He knocked some more. I looked down at my apparel; baggy sweatpants and hoodie. 'Surely he won't notice... I will just open the door, thank him, and that will be it..' I talked myself up as I opened the door.

"What do you want?" I asked like I hadn't heard him say a minute before. He didn't seem as angry as he usually is and I planed to keep it that way. "Your papers." he handed them to me and I accepted them. "Well thanks." I said as I started to close the door.

He reached his hand out and stopped it. I let out the longest internal groan as his hand made contact with the door. 'Why couldn't that be it? I just want to be left alone.'

"Can I use your bathroom?" He asked. I definitely didn't trust him in my house. I also have far too many things that will blow my secret.

"No."

"I just need to take a piss." He pushed the door slightly.

I caved, hoping he would stay true to his word and use the bathroom, then leave. I rolled my eyes as opened the door more so he could come in. "It is the last door on the right when you go down the hall." I said as he made his way through my house.

I felt a pit in my stomach as I waited for him to come out. It was a few minutes before he did step out, but it felt like my stomach dropped when I saw what he was holding up.

"What is this?" He questioned suspiciously as he held up the lacy bra I had been wearing before I took my shower earlier. I felt a light blush rise to my cheeks. "Wow are you that big of a virgin to not know what a bra is?" I raised an eye brow, trying to play the situation off. That comment made him visibly angry.

"I mean what the hell do you have one for." He said in the oh so familiar tone. "Well for one, it isn't mine. It is my girlfriend's, and I would appreciate it if you would put it down." I said calmly as I lied; a talent I had refined over the course of my life. "Like hell you have a girlfriend." I walked closer to him and took the garment. "Maybe if you weren't so abrasive and a flaming asshole to everyone you meet you would have one too."

It was just too easy to push his buttons. A small explosion popped in his hand as he clenched his fists. He glare met with mine. There was just something in me that wouldn't let me back down; possibly a false sense of pride. Neither one of us made a move as we stood, tension holding over us like a thick sheet.

It was surreal, if I was being honest. We butted heads so much, yet I found my self being drawn to him. It was like I needed to provoke him. However, doing so will be my demise, as he his quite literally a ticking time bomb.
