Ah yes, the day was upon us. My nerves were destroyed. My stomach was doing flips as I made my way to the large school. I stayed up for a good portion of the night watching the previous sports festival in hopes of it calming my frantic nerves; I was wrong.

I sighed. 'I need to stop worrying and focus on doing my best!' I thought, trying to give myself a peptalk.

Once I got to the school, we were all informed to get changed into our P.E uniforms. "(L/n), stay back, everyone else get out of here." Aizawa instructed. Everyone seemed to glance at me as they left the classroom. The only eyes that worried me belonged to none other than Bakugou. He looked the most suspicious of them all.

"You can change in here." He said after everyone left and walked to the door. "Also, your secret is safe for now so don't mess that up." I smiled as he shut the door.

'He may act like he doesn't care, but I guess he really does.' I thought to myself as I quickly changed into the uniform.
-
'This is it.' I thought to myself as I stood in the tunnel with everyone else. I sighed at my disadvantage of being in the middle of the crowd.

I actually was happy about this event. My quirk could potentially come in handy. I slightly smiled to myself as I was shoved around, waiting for the starting signal and doors to open.

*BEEP*

The doors opened and light flooded in. I was being jostled around as I tried to break from the crowd.

The light was almost blinding as I made it through the doors. Everyone seemed to stop. I ran into the person infront of me by accident. I looked up and my eyes widened at the large robots standing infront of us.

I saw my chance to break for it after Todoroki and Bakugou made their moves. I moved to the front if the crowd and squatted down, placing both hands on the ground. I brought a large root up, wrapping it around the robots feet.

I ran towards the falling hunk of metal and dove under it before it hit the ground. 'Ah yes, the good ol' tuck and roll.' I used the momentum to spring to my feet and keep going.

I slowed down to a jog to save my energy. 'Its always better to pace yourself' It thought to myself.

Up ahead I could see both Todoroki and Bakugou standing for a moment. I sped up to see what they were just standing and looking at. No doubt it was the next obstacle.

I started to panic as other people started coming up and conquering this challenge. 'I need to think...' I looked around for inspiration.

I put my hands on the ground and pushed the roots out of the side of the cliff to form a make shift bridge.

I stood back up and dusted off my hands, satisfied with my work. With no time to marvel at my handy skills, I jumped onto it and ran.
-
My legs were burning. It feels like this course is never going to end. I did my best to keep my breath steady as I forced one foot infront of the other. 'The end can't be that far away...'

Sure enough,  I was right. I was at the last obstical. I sighed in relief. 'They must be land mines...' I though ad I took my shoes off. As I undid the laces, I saw Todoroki and Bakugou still neck and neck. I laughed as they were shoving each other as they ran.

After standing up, I grabbed my shoes and started my track across the field. I closed my eyes as I stepped and focused on the presence of the mines underground.

My steps got faster as I got used to the pattern they were planted in. I was catching up to the ones on the top.

BOOM

A large explosion and Midoriya flying over everyone knocked me out of focus. 'That's genius. ..' I marveled at his creativity.

After that everyone started rushing more. I too quickened my pace, I was barely touching the ground.
_

I fell on the ground, mentally and emotionally drained as I came out of the tunnel. I smiled as I looked at the crowd cheering. It was hard to comprehend the amount of people watching in the stadium, and even more watching it on broadcast.

'This is going to be a long day'
