I sighed as I held the duffel bag on my shoulder as I waited for the train. "Ah, this is my train. See you guys later." Kirishima said as he parted ways with us. The excitement I had for the internship died when I made fatal choice of going with Best Jeanist. Bakugou was just as unhappy about my choice as I was. A smothering silence fell over us once the cheerful red head left to board his train. 'Of course I had to choose the same agency as Bakugou.'

The train ride wasn't as unbearable as standing with him on the platform, as we had went to opposite sides of the cabin. Even through the sea of people between us, I could still feel his occasional stares. I just kept my attention away from his as I let the music in my ear buds drown out the buzz of the train.
About half way through the ride, the cabin had thinned out. I spotted some seats near a woman and, who I assumed to be, her child. I sat down, leaving three seats in between us. I was looking out the window, when I felt a light tap on my shoulder and my earbud was being pulled out. I looked over slightly annoyed to the the small boy had scooted over and was looking at me. "Can I help you?" He was slightly taken a back but still asked his question.
"What's in that case?" He pointed to the aluminium case with my class number that held my costume. "My hero outfit." I said with a small smile. His face lit up and he started asking more questions. "Are you a Pro Hero?! That's so cool! I want to be a hero when I grow up!" He bounced up and down and I let out a small chuckle at his enthusiasm. "Not yet actually, I am still a student."
The rest of the train ride was filled with questions about my quirk, training, and anything he could think to ask. As the train pulled to a stop I got up and collected my things, saying goodbye to the young boy. "Good luck becoming a hero!" He said, smiling and waving as I exited.
"Who was that kid?" Bakugou questioned as we started our walk from the subway to the agency building. I shrugged. "Just some kid." I said vaguely as I plugged my ear buds back in, hoping to ignore Bakugou for as long as possible. I could tell he was annoyed by my answer, or just existence at all.
--
The building felt like it towered over us as we stood for a moment in front of it. "Wow..." I said quietly, taking out my music and putting away my phone. Bakugou had already started walking, I quickly followed suit.
"Ah, you finally made it." The person at reception greeted us. "You can go change into your hero suits and then head up to his office on the third floor." We both nodded and headed in the direction she pointed us to.
I was glad to see the changing area was in fact just the bathroom. I let out a sigh of relief as I stepped into the stall and pulled out the, relatively simple, outfit. The top half was a forest green that complemented my (skin tone) complexion. It was sleeveless with a high neck, trimmed in a muted green, and was made of a compression material. Much to my dismay, the measurements weren't quite right as the top had a cropped appearance with the hem ending at my belly button.
I tired to hide this by pulling the baggy, darker green pants up higher. I shook my head, as it just didn't look right. I pulled them back down to the normal place and fastened the belt to help keep them up, for they were a little too loose to move without fear of them falling.
"Will you hurry up." Bakugou complained while knocking on the stall door. "I'm almost done." I grumbled as I pulled the combat style boots on and laced them up. "Took you long enough." He complained and looked at me as I stepped out of the stall. He eyed my outfit but didn't say anything. I looked at myself in the mirror, making sure everything was straight and how it was supposed to be.
Once changed, we made our way to the office where Best Jeanist was waiting. As I reached out to knock, Bakugou turned the handle and went in. The tall, lean man was standing by his desk looking out the window. He then turned to face us. "To be frank, I don't like either one of you much." I was taken a back by the bluntness of his statement; Bakugou was just as surprised. "What?" The ash blonde asked in confusion. Jeanist looked at Bakugou narrowly, "I know why you chose this agency. It's because I am one of the top 5 most popular heroes, as for you, I'm not as sure if that was your reasoning." He directed the last part of his statement at me.
"Well you are the one who put in the offer." Bakugou said with aggression lacing his voice as he took a step forward, I found myself nodding in agreement with him. Before he could take another step towards the pro, he was restrained by the jean threads of Best's suit. "My job is to correct people like you, so your jobs here are to watch me."

"To be a good pro hero, you must help people and give them peace of mind. You have to give off the aura of a hero." He said as he pulled the comb away from Bakugou. I covered my mouth with my hand as I tried to stifle the laughs that were falling from my lips. He had styled the angry blonds hair in a way to where it is parted to one side, in stead of sticking out to all directions. He almost shook from the emotions he seemed to be bottling in. "You're next." He looked at me and I immediately stopped laughing.
'Shit...'
