Sue's POV:

~The Day Jimin Called His Mother by Accident~

As I end the call with my beloved son, Jimin, a dark side of me begins to grow and spread through me like an acidic plague. Slowly I find Fredrick's phone number, relishing the fact that this will finally be it, and he'll get what he deserves.

I chuckle as I stand up out of my bed and glide to an empty chair. Gently I flutter into it, dragging my long acrylic nails over the fabric, creating a delicious shredding sound. The line rings for a long while, as a clock ticks rhythmic somewhere in the dark hotel room.

"Hello, Ms. Park?" Fredrick's voice comes through and all I can do is chuckle.

"....You've been a very...very bad boy, Fredrick..." I growl.

"I-I have?" He asks, his voice full of guilt.

"Mhmm..." I hum, dragging my fingers across the arm of the chair once again. "I told you something when Jungkook came into this family....what was it?....Do you even remember?"

His breath catches in his throat, and a part of me hopes he's dropped dead somewhere in fear. He doesn't say anything.

"...I told you...that if you hurt my baby Jimin....I would ruin your life. I would destroy you in ways you couldn't imagine....and yet...you didn't take me seriously..."

"P-Please ma'am. You don't understand. I'm doing this for Jimin, not me-"

"You greedy son of a bitch." I breath. "You honestly think I would believe a glory hog like you after your history with my poor Jimin. He knows nothing because I kept up my end of the deal and swore not to ruin your image in his eyes....but you've crossed me one too many times, Fredrick." I chuckle and hear him swallow. "Maybe I should start by explaining how you rigged the system in his first tournament? Or how about how you've purposely been giving Jimin partners who are known for their inflexibility to make it even harder on him?....or maybe....should it be that you've replaced Jungkook at the last minute... not to secure Jimin's win necessarily...but to catch him off guard- to force him into bringing a whole new level of heartbreak and torture to the ice that the audience has never experienced from Jimin? Huh?! Answer me, dammit!"

"I-I"

"I warned you, Fredrick. Over and over again I told you that you could break my house, break my bank account, even break Jimin's body...but never ever! Were you told that you could lay a hand on his feelings...."

"M-Ma'am-"

"Shut the fuck up! Consider this your last season with Jimin, and you better pray to God that he doesn't find out what kind of a rat you really are!" With this I hang up the phone.

For a while the room is quiet, a quiet fire of rage burning inside my chest...when suddenly I pick up my neglected glass of lukewarm scotch and take a sip, humming at the burn as I smile at my reflection in the window across from me.

"...Things are about to get interesting..." I chuckle before taking another drink.

~Current Time~

Jimin's POV:

I block out everything as we ride to our first tournament of the season. Turning on autopilot, I basically flip off everyone and stare out the window of the car for a solid hour.

As we pull into the roundabout of a popular ice sport complex, I'm unsurprised to see many of my past competitors there, smiling to the cameras. In the past I was all about smiling to the camera and talking cocky to my fellow skaters...but this year somethings different.
