~One Week After Jikook's "First Kiss"~
Fredrick's POV
"Dance lessons?" Jungkook asks, his eyes wide. "But I'm just fine at dancing-"
"Street dancing doesn't count." I reply, cutting him off. "Jimin has been well trained in the ways of classical dance, but since you have not, your choreography is looking choppy and unattractive." I catch Jimin choking on his water softly from laughing at my criticism of Jungkook. "Is something funny, Jimin?" I snap, looking right at him.
"Not at all." He lies, one hand covering his smiling face.
"Good, because this is a learning environment where the only criticism allowed comes the teacher, understand?"
"Yeah, yeah. I got it." He sighs, skating across the ice for no apparent reason.
I watch Jungkook's face closely as he digests my opinion of his skating. His eyebrows are knitted together slightly, probably from both exhaustion and being frustrated. "Alright, Coach. I'll do it." He finally says, looking up to meet my gaze with determined eyes.
"Alright." I smile at him, clapping him on the back as he skates away from me to meet Jimin. "That's what I like to hear!"
The rest of the morning moves on smoothly, my attention only half on Jimin and Jungkook because I'm trying to find someone who can basically do a crash course on classical dance for my dark haired student.
"Yes..." I sigh into the phone, rubbing my eyes. "I understand, Ms. Lee. Yes, thank you for your time." I hang up the phone for the 5th time. Who in the world can teach him? I ask myself, turning my head to observe Jungkook and Jimin.
Jimin seems happier since the trip, so whatever Jungkook did, I'm glad for it. I've never seen him smile like this and take so much joy out of doing the most simple choreography. I watch as the two boys skate hand in hand around the edge of the rink, weaving their legs back and forth like a country vineyard dance. Jungkook throws Jimin into the air, spinning until he falls back into Jungkook's arms roughly. From then on they finish the rest of the choreography without too much trouble, even though technically it looked terrible and choppy as hell.
"Whoa!" Jungkook shouts, suddenly picking up Jimin and spinning him around, a shriek escaping Jimin. "I think that was the best time yet! Don't you think so?" He asks, setting Jimin back down.
The blonde boy looks quite flustered as he straightens his clothing and clenches his jaw for a moment before answering Jungkook, a slight pink tint covering his cheeks.
"Y-yeah it was pretty good." He scratches his head as if he's not sure how to tell Jungkook that it sucked. I'm about to stand up and stop Jimin before he roasts the poor boy to death, but what comes from his lips surprises me. "I would recommend that you concentrate on keeping your feet slightly angled to the right when we do that spin around part. Also when you throw me, if you twist my hips slightly, it can give me a little more momentum to make the spin completely." My jaw drops mentally. Did....did Jimin just give good advice without yelling or being sarcastic? I zone out for a minute, a mini montage playing in my head of every time I've had to physically pull Jimin and his partner away form each other, because they wouldn't stop screaming at each other.
"...what do you mean?" I suddenly come to again, hearing Jungkook respond. "Show me."
"Okay, watch carefully." Jimin skates to the other side of the rink, showing Jungkook in the most broken down form I've ever seen that choreography in. "See?"
"Oh, so...like this?" He skates around the corner, repeating Jimin's moves almost perfectly.
"Yes! Perfect!" He smiles, Jungkook returning an even sweeter, brighter smile.
