Jungkook's POV
My alarm begins to blare at six am. I peek out of my left eye and look around my dark room. Where am I?
I sit up and rub over my face, feeling the soft sheets slide over my legs. This isn't my mattress, this isn't my house. What- oh...that's right. I live with Jimin now.
~In The Shower~
The warm water runs over my face as I force my body to wake up. I'm normally a morning person so within 10 minutes I'm wide awake. I go to my closet, looking through my clothes.
"What do I wear?" I remember seeing Jimin dressed in some spandex black pants but hell, I don't have anything like that. Instead I put on a pair of black sweat pants and a white pull over, grabbing a pair of black skates that Fredrick gave me yesterday after our little talk.
As I walk toward my door, a folded up pair of pants catches my attention. A note with beautiful handwriting sits atop it.
Don't you even think about coming to practice without the right clothes.
-Jimin.
I chuckle to myself, slipping off my pants and putting the spandex ones on instead. "Well...at least he cared enough to drop some off."
Jimin's POV
My alarm goes off at 6:30 but I'm already awake, my mind running with thoughts of Jungkook. I'm still so upset that he's my new partner. I bet he's still sleeping his ass off right now. I bet he slept like a little baby while I stayed awake all night worrying about how practice would go today...stupid Jungkook.
I sigh and drag my exhausted body off of my bed and to the shower. I turn the water to cold, as I rinse myself off. I hate mornings, I just want to sleep in, but I know that I can't since the best time to practice is in the early part of the day, that way your mind is fresh. Though, it's hard to agree with that knowledge when you're awake tossing and turning all night. My mind has never felt less fresh in my life.
I sigh as I step out of the shower into the cold air, drying myself off and running my hands through my blonde hair before I put on my clothes and grab my black skates.
6:45 AM...Fredrick won't be up for another half an hour, and then he won't be at the rink until almost 7:30 so I'm glad I'll have lots of time to practice.
I open my door and close it behind me, my eyes come to rest on Jungkook's white door. Should I wake him? I ask myself and mentally slap myself for doing so. You've never woken up one of your partners before, Jimin. Just because Jungkook is new at this, you can't go easy on him.
The air is fresh and crispy, making me smile for a moment as I hear a bird chirp a happy good morning to its friends in the neighboring tree. I flip through the keys on my key chain before finding the right one. I put it inside the key hole but to my horror, it slide open a little before I've even unlocked it. Did that damn butler forget to lock it last night?
I slide the door open cautiously, but only to be met with a dark, slim silhouette dancing peacefully on the white ice. The whole room looks chilled in the darkness of the early morning, the only light being the glow of the sun peeking over the mountain. He doesn't stop when I open the door, nor when I step inside, which is when I realize that he has his headphones in.
Jungkook is untrained with many rough edges and little to no technique...but there's something capturing in watching him move. He doesn't stop, only keeps going and going; changing things up here and there but manly just closing his eyes and feeling the chilled wind flow through his dark hair. He looks peaceful in the morning, not tired and angry like all the rest of my other partners have been, but there's still a sadness there. Much like painters, you can tell a lot about a skater by the way they perform, just like how you can tell a lot about a painter based on what they produce. Based on the way he moves, Jungkook is slow and fluid but his face remains weighted and motionless, which leads me to believe that he's generally sad.
