Looking back at my life
I saw a certain pattern
When You stepped into my life
Things were certainly different
I did not understand
Why things happened as such
All I could do was firmly stand
For Your Truth was the healing touch
There were peaks and valleys
Throughout this amazing journey
Things were getting harder
But I was going higher
How could it be?
What did I do for it to be?
No, it certainly was not me
For You did it all for me
You made me stronger
As I walked through every valley
You brought me higher
As I persisted on this journey
For me to reach the peak
I had to go through the valley
And to rise to a higher peak
I had to go down another valley
But never going lower
Only higher and higher
For the peak of the mountain
Became the base of the next valley
