Chapter Two
I jogged down the stairs ready for school. Charlie was already up and eating some toast.
"Hey Uncle Charlie"
"Hey" I grabbed some fruit and yogurt before sitting down.
"Is it alright If I got to the reservation today after school?" I asked
"Yeah sure"
"Thanks"
"Will you be joining us for dinner"
"Yeah maybe"
"We'll call when you're sure." i then grabbed my phone and called Jake.
"Hey Johanna" he answered
"Hey, so am I cool for coming over today? Charlie's fine with it."
"Sure I'll pick you up, try and be the first out"
"Okay" I replied knowing why he didn't want to hang around long. Bella came down and unfortunately I had to catch a ride with her and Edward.
"Bella I'm going to a friend's after school so I won't be coming back with you and ...it"
"Johanna be nice and fine"
"Isabella not if he was on fire and whatever" as soon as 'it' slowed down I opened the door and got out slamming it behind me. I only had morning lessons and got home work from afternoon lessons. It was dinner and I jogged down to Jake and his rabbit.
"Hey Jake" I kissed his cheek
"Hey back...you ready to go"
"Yep but I have to be at the station for around 4. I'm having supper with Charlie and Bella"
"Kay" we got in and he started up the engine and he took me to the reservation.
"Johanna" the boys called coming out of Emily's eating one of her muffin's I hugged all of them.
"How you been Jojo" Jared asked
"Could be better and I'm not meaning my brain's new best friend." I smile
"What you mean then" Paul wondered
"Lanky Cullen" I spat out. "Sorry he just wind's me up, the others I like it's just he's a piss taker and unless I'm threatening him he acts like I don't exist. Just don't even get me started" I looked over
"Quill you're in the pack now?"
"Yeah finally" he grinned Emily followed by Sam came out
"Johanna. It's so good to see you" I hugged her
"Hey Em, Hey Sam"
"Hi Johanna"
"Am I allowed to come in or do I have to stand out in the cold all day" they laughed and we went inside. We had a right laugh making jokes and taking the piss out of Jacob. They boys were teasing him I joined in as to not show my jealousy. I really like Jacob and it hurts to know he has feeling for Bella.
"Oh Johanna this is Leah and Seth Clearwater, Harry's kids"
"Nice to meet you"
"You too" Seth beamed Leah nodded her head with a slight smile.
"Another girl round here thank god." she commented and the boys looked at her as if she'd grown another head.
"Guys stop staring at her. You bunch of weirdo's" they shook their heads
"Did she just say something remotely nice." Embry asked
"I think she did" Paul added
"It's a bloody miracle" Jacob finished
"Oh shut up" she huffed "I can be nice"
"Since when?" Quill wondered
"Shut up you idiots" I exclaimed they all look at me
"Gosh no wonder she finds you all irritating" I walk over and write my number down handing it to Leah.
"If these dufases start irritating you then give me a call an I'll sort them out" I smiled, she took my number and nodded.
"Do you want a lift? I presume you're leaving soon."
"Yeah thanks. I doubt Jake wants to face Bella" I turned to the boys
"Bye guys"
"Bye Johanna" we made our way out to her car and she started up before pulling out.
"So you don't like the leach?" she started
"Eavesdropping?" i laughed "No I don't, the rest of them I like Emmett the big one is one of my best friends. I just despise Edward, he thinks he's protecting Bella but actually he's hurting her and she can't see it. It would have been better for everyone if he just stayed away." I folded my arms
"That and she torments Jake. I hear his thought and he pines after her when she love him. He can't let her go" she adds I shift uncomfortably
"You okay?" she wonders
"Yeah, fine" I lied
"I can totally tell that's a lie" she kept looking at me before I blurted out.
"Okay I fancy Jake" she looked shocked
"But don't you dare tell him or about what I've said"
"I won't...so you fancy Jake?"
"Yes" I blushed
"Since when?"
"Since he hung around mine all the time with Bella and I." she nodded
"Just here" I point to the diner
"Thanks Leah"
"No problem I'll text you later?"
"Sure" I grabbed my bag and got out. I walked into the diner and saw my Uncle and Cousin
