Over time my health is decreasing, I can see how hard it is for Riley. It is taking everything he has to keep his promise and love this baby no matter what they're doing to me. I laid in the examination room. Carlisle was checking me over
"You have two broken ribs no splintering so none of your organs are affected. But your tumours growing" he turned to me
"I know I can only remember the past few years. What else?" I asked in a week voice
"It's the same for you and Bella. The foetus isn't compatible with your body. It's too strong, not allowing you to get the nutrition you need. It's starving you by the hour. I can't stop it and I can't slow it down. At this rate your heart will give out before you can deliver"
"Then I will fight for as long as I can"
"Johanna. There are even something's venom can't overcome. I'm sorry" he leaves us
"Riley you have to promise me something" I look at him with his arms folded
"If the worst happens"
"Don't say that"
"If it does and the venom doesn't work you will look after our baby." I start crying again gosh what is with me crying all the time.
"They will have lost their mother, I don't want them to lose their father" I held my hand out for him to take he does so
"Please Riley, I can't bear the thought of leaving the both of you. Let alone you not loving them because their strong enough to kill me. They don't know what their capable of."
"I can't stand to see you like this Johanna"
"I know, and I'm so sorry you have to. But you have no idea how much i wanted one. I thought that when I got my tumour that was it. But you gave me this and I'm not letting go for the world."
"If that's what you want me to do that how can I argue" I smile softly.

Later on Riley runs the bath for me and I open my robe to see the extent of what's happening. If I look like this so does Bella. When I finished Riley dressed me and take me into the living room to listen to the game. Carlisle puts and iv in my hand.
There's a game on and I try to listen to it when I shiver. I try yo warm myself but can.
"Are you cold?" Sparkle and Riley ask we nod
"I'm on it" Jacob came and sat inbetween us as our own heater and I go back to concentrating on the game while Jacob talks to Bella. I felt pain and I grunted. I tried to breath my way through it when I felt a warm hand on my back.
"Riley" I gasp he comes over taking my hand
"We need to find a way to get food into their systems" I heard Esme as I relax into Riley's arms
"If I could only see the foetuses..." Alice started
"The babies" Rose corrects
"Maybe I could figure out what they want" she finishes. There was a pause
"I think you might be right" Sparkle said "Jacob just had an idea" he told the rest of us.
"it wasn't an idea. It was a snide comment"
"What were you thinking" Carlisle asked
"That their just looking for someone to sink their teeth into." he replied i looked up to the others.
"He's thirsty" "she's thirsty" Bella and I said at the same time
"If their craving, they're not going to want Animal blood" Sparkle says
"I have some o negative and B positive laid aside for Bella and Johanna" I see Carlisle leave.
"Walk with me" Alice's says taking Jasper. Emmett leaves as well.
"Wait your going to make them drink that?" Jacob asks. I sniff and smell the blood. Oh shit I can smell it
"It's the fastest way to test the theory"
"Only if your both comfortable with it"
"We'll try anything" yep me and Bella should have been twins
"Just hold on" Sparkle and Riley got up and Jacob moved
"I think I'm going to be sick" he groaned. both vampire came back with cup that had straws in them.
"this might make it a little easier to take" I sat up and Riley gave me the cup. I took a deep breath and started to drink a little.
"Taste..." Bella began
"Good" I finished I sighed in relief. I took some more as Carlisle took both of our pulses
"Your pulse is getting stronger" I smiled at Riley as I took another sip.

A few days later I was on the phone to Charlie. Bella and i were taking turns at different times to call him.
"Hey Uncle Charlie"
"Hey how are you feeling?" he asks
"Okay, I have some good news and bad news. Which one do you want?"
"Bad" he replied
"My tumour is grown faster and my memory is going up until a few years ago and my health is decreasing." there was a pause
"And there's good news" i laughed
"Yeah, i don't want to get your hopes up it's only a theory. But Carlisle said he found a experimental trial that might work."
"That's great news"
"Yeah, but i don't want you to pin your hopes on it. If it works we don't know if it can reverse the effects or just stop them." I lie
"But it's something " I see Riley come in with my drink.
"Hey I gotta go Carlisle wants do a check up. I'll speak with you tomorrow okay?"
"Okay bye Johanna"
"Bye Uncle Charlie" I hang up and Riley gives me my drink sitting on the bed with me
"You look a lot better" he smiled
"Trust me I feel it" there was a knock and Sparkle came in.
"Is everything okay Edward?" Riley asked
"Yeah, Bella sent me in here she thought you might want to talk with your baby" he told us.
"You can hear their thoughts?" I ask
"I heard ours so Bella figures I might be able to hear yours" I look at Riley and grin
"If you can translate I'll stop calling you Sparkle" he smiles
"I kind of gotten used to your comment and name calling"
"Please" I ask
"Can I" he gestures to hold my belly I nod slowly. He comes over and touches it. Edward chuckles.
"They're happy they can finally talk to you" I giggle.
"They're also sorry for causing you pain and bruises....they try not to but she can't help but move"
"It's okay baby I know you don't mean to" I tell my baby
"They like your voice...when you sing....when Riley reads. It calms them"
"Thank you Edward, you have no idea how much this means to me" he nods standing up and leaving.
