Over the next few months everything was falling into place, Sam and Jacob had made a truce Bella was excepted as a vampire, they also knew of me and Riley welcoming us to the Olympic Coven. Although it seemed we only had one enemy left...time. Ayden and Renesmee were growing too fast. We all worried how long we would have with them. But this made every moment more precious.
Right now I stood with Bella, Leah and Jacob who were in wolf forms. Nessie was catching snowflakes while Aden was running around as fast as he could, for a four year old he had bundles of energy.
"Did you see that mommy, how fast was?" I chuckled kneeling down to face him.
"That was brilliant baby what else can you do" his eyes lit up as Nessie went to watch another snowflake. They ran off while Bella and I talked to the others.
"Edward thinks we'll find answers in Brazil" Bella said
"There are tribes there that might know something" i finished we watched as Nessie and Ayden jump up into the air. When they came back down they both ran over to their wolves hiding in them
"what's wrong?" Bella asked she then looked up to the mountains it looked like one of the sisters from Denali
"Who's that" Nessie asked
"I think that's our cousin form Denali" I told her looking up at the blonde
"Irina!" Bell shouts. She turns and leaves and the two of us run up to where she was but there's nothing. We looked over the edge of the mountain to the sea there was ruminants of a splash.
"We have to tell the others, maybe Carlisle can phone them to find out why she was over here." I suggested we run back down and I pick up Ayden how put's his arms around me clutching on tight.
"It's okay baby, you're okay" I soothe him.
"She looked scary, she looked like she was really mad."
"I know baby, she lost someone she loved very much to the wolves. That's why she looked mad." I tell him.
"Because we're friends with them." I nod. We return back to the house and told the others what happened. While Carlisle was on the phone to the Denali's. Nessie was sat at the piano with Edward and Ayden sat doing a crossword from the cabin. I sat on Riley's lap as Ayden was doing his cross word.
"Tanya convinced Irina to come reconcile with us" Carlisle told us.
"It's looks like she changed her mind" Edward replied
"Seeing Jacob and Leah must have been too much for her." Esme suggested
"I wish I could have just spoken to her" Bella sighed
"She's family, she'll come around" Carlisle smiled putting his arm round Esme. Edward started playing and Renesmee copied. Edward began and Bella turned to watch them. I sat down next to Ayden when Rose and Emmett came in with Jacob and Nessie was playing on her own. I heard a gasp then a crash I looked back. Alice had dropped a vase of flowers. Jasper was by her side in a second.
"What is it Alice?" he asked
"The Volturi. They're coming for us. Aro, Caius, Marcus, the Guard and Irina" she informed us I stood up picking Ayden along with me.
"Why?" Carlisle wondered
"What did Irina see in the wood?" Edward asked
"We were just walking" Bella told him
"Ness was catching snowflakes" Jacob added
"And Ayden was showing me his jumping" I finished looking at my son and brushing some hair out of his eyes.
"Of course...Irina thinks Renesmee and Ayden are immortal children" I walked closer to them
Carlisle was talking us through the immortal children showing us pictures.
"The Immortal children were very beautiful. so enchanting, to be near them was to love them. But their development was frozen at the age they were turned. They couldn't be taught or restrained. A single tantrum could destroy and entire village. Humans began to hear about them, stories were spread and the Volturi were forced to intervene. Since the children couldn't protect our secret, they had to be destroyed.
Their creator grew very attached and fought to protect them. Long established coven's torn apart. Countless human's slaughtered. Traditions, friends even families. Lost." he told us
"So the Denali's mother made and immortal child?" Bella asked
"Yes" he replied "And she paid the price...they killed her."
"Well Renesmee and Ayden are nothing like those children, they were born not bitten. they grow every single day" I stated
"So can't you just explain that to the Volturi?" Jake wondered as he sat with Leah.
"Aro has enough proof in Irina's thoughts" Edward replied
"So we fight"
"Their offensive weapons are too powerful. No one can stand against Jane." Jasper shoots down that idea. Riley comes over and rubs my shoulders
"Alec's even worse" Alice added
"Then we convince them" Bella says
"Bella's right, we need to save them, their just children innocent children and no one harms them" I stand up and start pacing.
"They're coming to kill us, not to talk" Emmett said.
"No you're right. They won't listen to us. Carlisle, you have friends all around the world"
"I won't ask them to fight" he shakes his head.
"Not fight, witness. If enough people knew the truth maybe the Volturi will listen." Esme looked up at her mate.
