The Big Secret

Chapter Eight

I've invited some few friends over.
Well some  are acquaintances.
I am hoping for no drama but good vibes only!

I also asked my mom to visit Cassie's mother for the night.
Yeah, need the house all to myself.

Earlier on today, I thought of some quick snacks and drinks to make.
Well the kind of drinks everyone wouldn't have a problem taking in.

Cocktails!

Home made cocktails.  Since they easy to make, I will start with them later, probably with Cassie if she'll be here before everyone else.

For a snack I decided to use Triscuit for scopping. 
I combined a can of tuna with shredded pickles, olives, mustard, touch of mayo and season with  salt and pepper and called this Triscuit Tuna.

Its only a few minutes left till everyone is here.  I am in my room doing the final touches to my hair when I hear a knock downstairs.

"Its prolly Cassie"

"Thought as much" I say opening the door,  seeing Cassie.
"Ag, rather early than late" she says back coming inside.
"Anyways, what can I help you with"?  She asks.
"Drinks, making cocktails, what do you think"?
"I hope not VIRGIN COCKATAILS!! " she says very loud.
"Geez, not that loud, is alcohol all you think of?  Anyways pre-chill the vodka and wine in the freezer " I say this looking at her, really waiting for her facial expression.
"Hell ya girl, vodka, wine,  that's what am talking about" her voice sounds jubilant.

We pre-chilled vodka and wine in the  freezer
Got large wine glasses.
And added 4-6 ice cubes in the wine glasses.
The vodka and wine is now very well chilled.
We add vodka, raspberry, liqueur, blue curacao, lime cordial and cranberry.  The results are beautiful purple rain cocktails ready to serve.

"I can hear this cocktails calling my name, let me take one "
"Let me have one too, I hope it is as good as it looks" I tell Cassie.

And of course it does.

"So,,,  i-is Ry-an coming"?  My words stutter as they come out.
I am totally embarrassed.
"Not sure, maybe, you know  he has work. Do you want him to come though"? Cassie asks me.
Do I want him to come?  
"I would like him too" I quietly say.

Hello my lovely readers and fans.
Firstly am sorry for not updating any sooner.
And I know this chapter is really short but i promise the next won't be this short.

At this point you guys should be wondering if Ryan will show up or not!.
