It's well known that band gekks are the upoular/ antisocial ones, while the football players are the poular/prty going ones, and the two normally dont get along. Or atleast thats how it's said to be/ At my school that's not the case. There are band geeks that are football starts, and some of them are even friends. But the one thing I'v never heared of, was them dating..... yet.
"Kasandra! Are you coming or not? We're going to be late for rehersal!" my best friend Luna, shouted out her car window.
She was my ride to band, we met like in 9th grade, and have been inseperable ever sense. Now that she has her licens, my mom doesn't have to get up early. I jumped into the passangeer seatand threw my bag into the backseat with hers.
"Hey girl, sorry. I was thinking about this year. Maybe I can get a decent guy. And just maybe I can get my football player." I said, buckling my seat belt.
"WEll good morning to you too. WE can't be late, Mr. Thomas will kill us. It's setting a bad example for our freshmeats." she said, criticizing me.
We stopped at the local Sheetz to grab our lunch, and there he was. My red-head prince.
"Hey Kasandra. Hey.... Luna, what's up?" he asked walking towards us.
"Hey Logan, we're just grabing lunch for band. I'm to lazy to majke my own and Luna woke up late, so bonus. You?" I asked as I ordered my sub.
"Grabbing a drink for football. Wait, I thought you siad you had a date today. Not band." he said, going to the back to the drinks.
"Yea, I do. With about 90 some other people. It's called a band date." I chuckled, grabbing a Monster from the fridge behind him.
"You know, you relly shouldn't drink that crap. Expecially if you have band. You'll end up burning out by the end of it." he said as he grabbed a Gatorade.
"I have water thankyou, and that's the idea. Pluss there's only one week a year I get to have this stuff, so I'm going to enjoy myself." I informed him, grabbing my chips and swedish fish.
I went over to get my sub, while he went and bought his drink. He waited for me as I bought my things, he just couldn't stop smilling and I could tell he was trying not to laugh.
"Hey I got a question. How are you getting to the school? Youer ride left a few minutes ago." he said chuckling.
"WHAT!?!?!?! Shit, now I have to walk. Sorry Logan but I have to go, or I'm dead meat. Bye." I said running out the door.
