Chapter 49

I dump my stuff onto the couch and sit down next to it.

"Are you sure you're okay? The way you left here Friday evening...Rahul and I have been worried sick!"

"Good," I say grinning at her. "That's payback for being so secretive."

"Not funny, La. We were worried about you. You mean alot to the both of us. We don't want to lose you."

"Well, no chance of that happening. I'm going to be like the third wheel nobody needs, but I don't care. You're both stuck with me."

Tina giggles, the relief on her face is so visible it makes my heart ache. I can never stay angry with her.

"So, it's my turn to do the twenty questions with you. Sit." I fake glare at her.

She giggles but takes a seat in her desk chair.

"Shoot," she says, grinning. "And just so you know, it was just three questions I asked you the last time. But I'll answer anything you want now. I want to make things right between us."

"Question one. When, where and how?"

We both burst out laughing.

We spend the next hour talking about her secret love affair with my brother. She speaks so excitedly and with such passion that I can see that she's really into my brother.

It was all about the sex in the beginning but progressed very quickly into something more. Rahul's a God in bed? Well, that's how Tina describes it. Would never have guessed... That's a gag moment for me. Like, literally I choke and swallow saliva that threatens to bring on a puking episode.

She tells me that she's always had a thing for Rahul and his sexy good looks, especially his tight firm butt. I screech in horror at that as thoughts of my goofy brother as a sex symbol of any kind fills my head.

There's just some things I'd rather not know about.

Tina's always been very open about sex, but I really don't think I can get used to her telling me sex stories about her and my brother. I can never see Rahul in that way. It's just....Ewwww.

But once she's on a roll there's no stopping Tina. She tells me everything and parts of it does make me smile. It's quite a lovely story actually, very similar to mine and Riaan's in so many aspects that I find myself relating to it.

Love is not something you find. It finds you.

"I'm so happy for you, T. I've always wondered who would end up stealing you heart. Little did I know it would be my own brother! But I am son pleased."

"Thanks, La. Imagine, we could do double dates. Rahul and I can hook you up with our friends and we could be just like real sisters. I can't wait. I'm going to find you the perfect guy."

I say nothing at this but smile. I think I'm blushing too. Tina catches it. Nothing escapes her attention.

"Wait...there's something different about you..."

She looks at me intensely and my grin deepens.

She puts the pieces together and her jaw drops open.

"You didn't! Did you?"

She can't contain the squeal that escapes her and she jumps up and comes to embrace me on the couch.

"I knew David had it in him. He's perfect for you."

Oh my God. David. I'd forgotten all about him.
